"Great school with great teachers. My son loved it here for the short time he was here. The main problem my wife and I ran into is if your child has IEP check and see if they provide proper services for your child. They will tell you they do, but come to find out they can only cater to certain situations. After spending $500 on school clothes and after care fees, I can't get none of that money back. Financially they're putting parents in a bind by not knowing if they can accommodate a child."
"Horrible from the top down. Building has NO windows in it. Administration cares only about money. I witnessed them pass every kid in a class when multiple kids had overall grades of less than 50%. They care about getting money from the state, nothing else. They talk about helping students from poor families, yet sell junk food every day to students encouraging poor eating habits and obesity. lunches are NOT cooked, they are prepackaged meals that are microwaved. lunch is usually 15 minutes for students which is not enough time to eat. They place all the burden on teachers even making them buy their own paper for handouts to the students. They provide minimal supplies and expect teachers to foot the bill for everything. I wouldn't send the child of my worst enemy here !"
"This was a last resort for us since our stepdaughter moved in with us. There was some really great teachers there last year, but this year forget about it. The teachers are mean and they just don't care. My stepdaughter is a great kid she tells me all these stories. This is school so bad that the teachers don't even send there kids here . How do I know this because I see the teacher dropping off their kids at my kids school. Next year my stepdaughter will not be attending this school. If your a minute late after 3:45 they close the gate in front of your face. By the way I'm working mother of 6 get off of work at 3:30 so I'm a speed demon trying to get there but they are quick to judge cause I'm in yoga pants I work in a operating room so I don't wear fancy clothes since I have to change into scrubs."
"The school is great, it does have some growing pains though. There are teachers who do not understand the students. Also, teachers who leave. But its a very friendly school, caring teachers and they greatly teach. Though there will be a teacher your child come home and complains about (Mr.Watkins). But we have a new principal, so i'm exited for the next year here. I've been going there since it has opened, and I love it there."
"This is school is not the best. As an former student this school was horrific. I was there for one year in 7th grade there are only 5 advanced classes and on only one advanced math class, only 19 kids in the class. They have a strict uniform policy that i do not agree with i think that they should get rid of it cause have the school doesn't follow it. Overall i do not think you should consider your child(en) go(ing) to this school."
