"If you don't want your child to be bullied. It's in your best interest. Not letting your child attend this school. I have had problems, not once but twice at this school. Me reporting it, made matters worst, to the point where my kid was called a liar and someone saying that they don't have control of who's in their class. No kind of punishment into play for the bully. Also cyber bullying, where the student told another student to fy and gkyourself. I can't believe that this goes on in elementary."
"Sexton elementary has been, and will continue to be a great school. I have had many grand-children, over a number of years, attend this school and have always maintained an excellent relationship with the staff. The special needs children receive awesome one-on-one time from the teachers, and are never made to feel different from the other kids. The people that are posting the negative reviews get treated as they deserve. If you put out negativity and rudeness, then this is what you'll get back. The 2 best schools at the elementary level are Sexton and Rawlings. The absolute worst school in this catagory is Lealman."
"Poor example of educational setting for special needs kids. My child has been at this school for roughly 3 months and I am filing state complaints to get her moved. She has regressed tremendously since starting at sexton. Fallen and bumped her head twice (with a vp shunt), been sent home for being 'sick' more than once, however when I get her there's nothing wrong. To top it all off, she was bitten twice in a matter of 2 days by the same child. No incident report sent home, had to request one be sent home. Received over a week later. The principal of the school acts like she's been in charge for five minutes. Bottom line? Don't send your child here unless you have a one on one for him/her."
"This school is amazing. I have gone here since kindergarten and the teachers and staff are kind, nice, and take care of the students. If I had to recommend a kid to a elementary school this is the place. They even take special needs children. My favorite teachers are Mrs. Cook, Mrs. Courtney, Mrs. Babb, and Mrs. Broadbear. THIS SCHOOL IS AWESOME!!!!!!! :-)"
"The staff in the front office is a bunch of rude people. They act consenting and just generally act like they could care less and act as if you are bothering them. As for the teachers the ones my children have has the misfortune to have to deal with have all acted as if they don't have time to teach. Both my kids have special needs and I get the impression that shun my kids because of it. I also get empty promised from the Principle. I had a conference with her 3 weeks about one of my kids teachers, after being told that she would get back to me I have not heard anything. I think the teachers, staff and Principle are ALL WORTHLESS! I now see what Gov. Scott sees. I think the lot needs to be fired!"
