New Heights Elementary School 3901 37th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33714

"I went to this school when it was still Tyrone elementary ASWELL as it being new heights, both forms of this school were horrible. I still remember to this day being humiliated by my third grade teacher Ms.Drexler. This nasty woman who had braces in her mid 20s early 30s who would always find a reason to pick on me, one time she told me I wasn’t allowed to have a binder, yet every other kid had one, mine was just cuter(it was a fuzzy Lisa Frank binder in purple) I remember telling my mom who then called the school to complain the next day the princeple ( at the time mrs. Hawkins) comes in and fatty drexler said it was distractin from the class?? We always kept all binders under the seat so obviously this fat hoe was jealous of my Lisa Frank. Another instance was when the rays beat the Yankees I was like kinda upset bc I liked the yankees right? So she asked me what’s wrong? And I told her I don’t really like the rays. Wanna guess what this rude woman says to me??? She said oh well you should probably keep that to yourself. what do you mean?? You asked me ??? Another time I said that Demi lovato was ugly and she told me I looked like her I was like did this piggy just say I’m ugly?? I’m like 9 ?? So I’m mad asf right I hate her LITERALLY 4 MONTHS OF SCHOOL LEFT AND THEY FINALLY LET ME SWITCH TEACHERS. then one of the students in that class said they were goin to shoot the teacher (I cannot for the life of me remember her name I think it was mrs.Wilson idk ) it was wild. And in 4th or 5th grade we had a man hop the fence into the school and it took forever for us to go on lock down and the janitor ended up fighting the guy so shout out to you mr janitor I can’t remember you’re name but you da realist. But yeah this school sucks but whateva"

"My kindergartener has come home black-eyed, bruised and scratched several times. The principal had not once returned a call about it. Won't be bothered with anything they don't want too. Act weird about letting you see the kids during school. Pickup time is a mess. Car circle takes about an 45 minutes. Only give the kids a small window between when school starts and when they actually let them in the school. That means if u can't sit there, you have to leave your kid sitting on the sidewalk with one person outside. They don't supervise the kids at lunch or recess. Many parents complain of lunches being stolen or kids being bullied at recess. I'm pulling my kids out next year. This school hasn't been beneficial to my kids at all. I'm disappointed."

"WORST SCHOOL EVER!! PLEASE READ TO THE END!! (the school. Ms.Austin, and Ms.Clifton and school Nurse) lost my child who has Add/ADHD/ odd/bd. After the 5th time with no phone call my husband and I went up there. I threw a fit and not one person would even apologize for thier mistakes. So after DCF shows up (yes Ms Clifton called 5 times. So many times they stopped coming out. They didn't even call me) in the middle of the night i get extremely upset. I tell the teacher as well as the staff that yes my child takes her medication but under the Hippa law you should not be asking a 6yr old if they take thier medication everyday especially in front of other student's as well as parents. I do not want my child thinking she needs medication to get by in life!!!! Well they decided to put a trespassing warrant against him/Father/husband from Lisa Austin who should of handled the situation instead of hiding in her office. Well after the WARNING they Ms Saccora Thomas said she needs a meeting with US. We're trying to set up an EIP for the 2nd yr in a row now. I confirmed the appt with the teacher as well as the Asst Principal the day before as I'm leaving the Asst says "tell your husband I said hi". Well we go up for our meeting and guess what!! It was a huge set up. They called us up for a meeting and AS SOON as he walked on the property here comes 3 cops saying your under arrest. They pulled out the paper showing we were suppose to be there and said nothing. I kept asking the Asst Principal why would you do this? Why call us up here for a meeting and have him arrested in front of our children. As I'm recording all of this all he can do is smerk!! The cop grabs MY book bag where i tell him it's mine and I don't give him permission to search and he finds my pocket knives and they take him to jail for it. As we're walking Here it is exactly 1 month later. No calls nothing from the school and he's still in jail. As we're walking away from the office the nurse a grown woman at that decides(she didn't realize I had my phone out recording) she's going flick a 6yr old off and stick her tongue out at her like a child would when they're mad. I caught this all on camera!! I carry a Kali stick with me because I have to. I've walked up on school property and had another students parent grab my child out of my hand push me back and yell in my child's face that she's a fu*king maniac and she's fu*king crazy right in front of the office and no one said or seen anything another man rolls pass the stop sign as your coming out almost hit me and my baby I yelled watch what your doing their are children around he waits till I'm over by the bikes runs up and sucker punched me in the face and takes off. Neither time did the school do anything but according to them it's my family that's the threat. If anyone else is having problems I think we should all get together. I will not stop until the school board recognizes that it's the school and there staff that's causing the problem's. Not the parent's and students. My name is Dawn Brooks and I'm on Facebook!!"

"Worst school in pinellas county. Rude and ignorant staff. Worst car circle set up in the world. They should shut this place down and the staff should be working away from the school system. I would not suggest this school to anyone. They make the kids feel like they do everything wrong and threaten the kids with fear if they say anything about what is going on in school. School should be fun and educational."
