"We are here camping and wanted to get a Valentines dinner. We stopped in, and the service was great. The food was good. Would go back. It is a cute little place."

"This is a very basic Mexican restaurant. It was nothing fancy but the only game in town. The poor waitress was trying to cover all the customers in the place. We had a larger group so she was doing her best. The staff was friendly but it took quite awhile for all of our food to come out. If you drink, there is a limited beer choice and that's about it. We actually brought our own drinks and wine with us which they said was fine. Do not order the Mi Viejo burrito. It is very plain and dry. The others in our group seemed to like their choices...mainly the fajitas dishes. The guacamole was awesome! Mayo is a small town and restaurants are few and far between. Go into Mi Viejo with a laid back attitude without great expectations and you will be fine."

"I recommend the pineapple fajitas and chorizo queso to start. More could be done with the tortillas. The service was flawless and welcoming. They also sold sauces, candy, spices, cookies, sodas, etc."
