"Called to pay a bill and they told me is was already paid. I asked if they were sure, saying that I thought I had paid a different bill, but not that particular one. They assured me it was paid. Six months later and I just got a call from a collections agency. I have never been so much as late on a bill, let alone sent to collections. I am beyond furious. Never received any phone calls, emails, or subsequent bills after speaking with them and being assured that I was good."

A recent discussion with Supervisor Brittany revealed a 30-day grace period for timely payments, yet the August payment due on the 21st was inadvertently omitted—an acknowledgment on my part. My contractual obligation requires monthly minimum payments of $40. Payments of $30 on July 9 and July 20, a $50.25 payment on September 17 (prior to the 30-day period), and subsequent payments of $50 on October 11, $50 on November 15, and a final remittance of $370 on December 7, totaling $580.25, are outlined. Evidentiary photographs confirm no 30-day lapse. Despite consistent overpayment, I engaged personally with Central Pathology for updated statements. In light of these circumstances, I find it necessary to report Central Pathology to the Better Business Bureau. I also plan to escalate this complaint to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, with potential legal recourse to safeguard my interests and those similarly situated. I emphasize that no explicit authorization was granted for communication via text message, contravening GDPR regulations without the requisite electronic communication consent. Skepticism persists regarding Central Pathology’s Fair Debt Collection Act compliance. I seek explicit confirmation that, considering the payments, my account is settled, precluding further adverse credit action. I request the Better Business Bureau’s intervention to address these concerns and ensure a fair resolution. Your prompt attention is appreciated. "I am not the type of person to give a bad review, but this is meant to help others. I received a bill a year after service. They incorrectly billed the payment as a doctor office visit instead of a hospital visit. My insurance company insisted that they should do the right thing and correct it this way it would be 100% covered but they refused and said it was too late even though they made the mistake. I paid for the invoice anyways, but am disappointed with how they handled the situation."

"They use a service called Medusind for billing. This company blocks access to their payment portal from outside the US. Bill came 3 weeks after the tests, and had a 4 week payment deadline. I had to ask a friend in the US to remotely access their PC so I could pay the bill. They only take credit cards, no PayPal. If you're traveling internationally to the US and wind up needing medical services, do not let the doctor use CFP. They will send the bill out late, won't allow you to pay from back home, and will send your bill to collections. God help you if you used a friend's address because the hospital cannot handle international addresses, like I did."
