"This school is the absolute worst! If your child is having any issues at all, the staff do not try to help at all. They just threaten the kids! As a parent who was concerned, I asked for help several times and was met with complete disregard for my child. Mrs. Bryant the advanced science teacher is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. It is very obvious if she doesn't like one of the students, she makes sure that student has a hard time in her class! This USED to be a good school. Unfortunately, I can no longer say that. The only reason they even got one star from me is, this wouldn't let me give them less than one! They don't care about the kids at all!"

"This school is by far the worse school ever to send your children to. Middle School is hard enough and the teachers make it harder and emotionally draining for the students. Some of the teachers are as petty as the students and mean spirited. They will allow your child to get bullied all year in the classrooms and your child won't be able to focus. Then when your child has to stand up for themselves; they keep him/her from graduating and let the bully graduate. The administration doesn't care because they're too busy doing things that should get them removed and HAS gotten them removed! So if you don't have any other choices, all I can say is stay involved in your kids education, talk to them, email teachers, demand to see homework, set up conferences because they will fail your children and won't let you know until the day of graduation."

"I will say this, these teacher's and staff. Think they can just tell you things like. Your child's doing this and doing that. Have evidence but can't or won't show you. However, if you know your child then you know it's not right. They will take a Honor Student and knock them down. To be one of the students amongst the school. Let's just say my childs test scores are higher then the schools test scores combined. So that tells you something! We moved here from the North too realize that she's smarter then the norm. It took them two weeks to find placement for her. Because as they told us, we never had a student like this before. But yeah, they will try to dumb your children down if they can. They cheat them out there grades. It's best to go somewhere else if you can. This school is a joke, Im surprised they are even accredited for real. In the North they wouldn't be at all. For goodness sake they just rose from a "D" graded school to a "C" graded school this year. So yeah they are behind if you want your children to be on the correct path and actually learn. Don't send them here! They will not get the job done. If anything Oak Park will make it worst."

"This schools gifted and advanced program, as well as the DIT education program is in my opinion top notch. As a student that goes here I feel that there are many positive things to consider about this school. Whether you are attending this school or enrolling your child i feel that this school is well equipped to give your child an outstanding education. There are also negatives such as the behavior of other students attending, though compared to schools such as Tavares Middle where the students have put up skewed social standards and there is no diversity, Oak Park will expose your child to a diverse social environment making them a more open minded and better person."
