"Had an appointment. Show up and am told they would need to reschedule because they had not gotten the proper insurance authorization yet. Needed more time. No call. Nothing. Told me to reschedule. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere for sure."

"My wife recently had an appt with Akumin. She got a text message an hour before the appointment, stating that it was cancelled as the machine needed had broken down. When we called we were told there was no way we would be seen that day, and the earliest day to reschedule was 9 days out. We had already used our PTO and taken the day off from work, so this was not acceptable. We were unable to speak to a supervisor when requested as none were available, the office where the procedure was scheduled would not answer the phone from the person we were speaking to, and they had no backup machines or anything. Also when we requested a call back, we waited 45 minutes and never got one, and still did not get one all day. Thankfully we had a backup appointment for this procedure at a different location but at a much later date that was already setup. I would never recommend Akumin for anything and will make sure to tell everyone this fact."

"I arrived at my 1:00 appointment at 12:30 still didn’t get called until 1:25 and My husband and I were the only ones there. I did not appreciate the lady service that was capturing my baby. she was very nonchalant and had my husband waiting for along period of time to come in to see our baby and she had me feeling very uncomfortable with a full bladder while she press down on my stomach to see my baby. she then stop to talk on the phone as time goes by then allowed me to use the bathroom after she seen me getting frustrated she made the process even more uncomfortable when she said My husband can’t capture our baby by phone then when she gave me a copy of the ultrasound photo it doesn’t identify if my baby was a boy or a girl it’s just a plain screenshot. I know it’s a boy because my husband had to tell her to show him the baby area to identify the gender. If I knew her name I would share it in this review but I’m sure she’s aware of her unprofessionalism thank you."
