"So, I posted a one star review following a very disappointing trip to a Golden Chick that used to be a sacred wonderful local place I loved very much. But provides jobs and food choice alternative to the McDonalds…for surrounding neighborhoods and businesses. Their management reached out immediately here. By then, I was in Pensacola on a project, and came back through Panama City to find things MUCH IMPROVED… So I wanted to take that bad rating down. It was nice to see the place “Vibing” again this most recent visit. I never identified myself to management and apologize it took so long to circle back. I only use the drive through so I didn’t rate “atmosphere” Everything was back to their usual good standard . Aaaannnnd fresh brewed unsweet tea is really quite good for you. Stay hydrated. They make it fresh when you order it. #GreatImprovement #TwoVisitAssesment"

"I haven’t been here in years but it sounded good so I got it. I got the 3 piece tenders and the tenders were cold… like I know you know they old and you wouldn’t eat cold food. The mac and cheese was hot and great."

"The food was excellent! It was my first time eating there. My husband eats there regularly because he works and loves to fish in that area. I tried the roasted chicken, fried okra, and cheddar pepper bites. I paid extra to get 4 yeast rolls to share with others at our table. Everything was fresh & hot. Definitely get extra rolls. My entire family raved about the sweet tea."

"My boyfriend and I went to golden chick for lunch and the man taking our order was trying to rush us through ordering. Very rude. And then we get home and there is a bug in our roll. Thankfully we saw it before eating. We go back to golden chick and request a refund. And I feel like that’s the least they could have done considering we brought the big inside to show them. The managers and staff acted as if though we were crazy for not eating the food. I will not be coming back."
