"Ansley was the best server ever!! She was so kind and so knowledgeable. Kyle from the kitchen brought out our food and was so kind and thoughtful. I appreciate them so much! They were both so incredible along with the food and the amazing blonde ale! First time even as a semi local and I’m overly impressed. The food was incredible too! Cannot wait to come back!"
"After reading a review in Destin Florida magazine, we decided to give Beach Camp Brewpub a try. We had read about how good the pimento potato dippers were but we didn’t see them on the menu so we asked our server Amber. She said, “oh we don’t have those.” Not 100% sure if that ever had them or not, she didn’t really elaborate. So, we continued to peruse the menu and decided to go ahead and order dinner. My Mom ordered the Smokey Bay Bisque as a starter which was listed on the menu and was told they didn’t have that. She then ordered the Pimento & Pickles; the menu described it as pimento cheese, pickles, house pickled veggies, and pita bits. It arrived at the table with pimento cheese, plain cucumbers, and saltines. No pita bits, pickles or pickled veggies. After bringing it Amber’s attention, she said they would adjust our check for that. I had the Southern Shrimpers Grit Plate which was pretty good. The shrimp were amply spiced and cooked properly (not overcooked). The grit bake was a little bland but still not bad. My sister had the BBQ Beer Nachos which she said were okay. The beer cheese was a little bland and quite scarce on the large pile of tortilla chips. This trip was 2 in 1 for us…first and last. On a side note, the gentleman running trivia night was friendlier than anyone I interacted with during my visit."
"The restaurant was super clean and modern. The brewing machinery is viewable through glass which is cool. Full bar! Great selection of beer, wines, and cocktails. The menu was not hugely imaginative but the execution was flawless. I had surf and turf and my wife had breaded grouper over linguine. Both were delicious! The drinks were generous and the wait staff was kind! Definitely would go back. For a Saturday night it was not too busy when we went, but if they keep executing on their food and beverages with great service....I could see the place being super busy in the future!"
"First of all, this place was extremely empty and it took at least 30 minutes to make 3 drinks. Then when we ordered, the waitress had no idea what even was on the menu or came with it. The food was awful. My food which was the catch of the day for 40$ was extremely over seasoned. It tasted like i was eating buckets of salt. My grean beans were soggy as heck and i was supposed to get asparagus. 40$ for that dish is absurd. My girlfriends food looked like it should be served in a prison. The beans were definitely microwaved. My brothers sandwich was staked with so much garbage and unorganized on a plate. The brisket was dryer than cotton. The chicken was horrible and dry and looked like cafeteria chicken. The service and food was awful. 150$ or so. What a waste of money. Don’t recommend."
"Outside of feeling like an inconvenience prior to being seated, this place was absolutely incredible with a great setup, phenomenal southern oriented menu and classic craft cocktails with their own sprinkle of originality. When we walked in someone rolling silverware told us to wait by the hostess stand and someone will be with us. We were the only ones waiting and 4-5 minutes go by before the bartender noticed us and says someone will be with us shortly. Another few minutes goes by and she noticed we were still there and called out to one of the servers to seat us. A few more minutes goes by before the bartender herself came from out the bar and seated us herself. The whole ordeal was like 11 or 12 minutes to get sat in a close to empty downstairs dining room around noon. Once we got sat we were greeted by 2 different servers but Jenn ended up taking care of us and was very patient with us as we asked many questions. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave us great recommendations! The drinks were superb, the food top-notch! We got the tuna dip appetizer and both of us got lunch plates. It was much more than we bargained for in terms of portion sizes and all the sides were delightful. I picked up a bone from my ribs and it slid right off the meat! Finger-lickin’ good! Will definitely have to come back for their happy hour specials!"
