"La Paz is a treasure just off 98 in the heart of Destin. Great, long list of margarita specialities and tequila. Fun, cozy eclectic vibe. Plenty of seafood integrated naturally into coastal Mexican fare. Good options for full vegetarian eaters. Even the basics - rice and black beans- are made with love and lots of flavor. My teen kids said it was the best tasting Spanish out Mexican rice they've ever had. My guy got the vegetable tamale; it had more masa than we would prefer, but the masa was fresh and delicate, and its veggies were flavorful. I had spiced snapper and it was perfectly cooked. "We had an outstanding meal at La Paz this week. Our server Carly was absolutely wonderful. We had been on a boat all day and wanted some great food and great service and we got both with Carly. She was informative, attentive and very kind to us all! The food was great as well, everything was delicious, along with the margaritas! Our party was very happy with the atmosphere, service and food we received. We will visit again next year!"

One of my favorite things a bought this locally owned joint is that they practice "Gulf to Table" for all their seafood served. That's right, FRESH grouper tacos, FRESH tequila lime GULF Shrimp! You'll find plenty of local craft beers and specialty crafted margaritas at the bar. If you have catering or event space needs, they have you covered as well! Aside from great service, delicious food, and the laid back atmosphere, La Paz actively gives back to several local foundations that enrich and enhance the community.
