"Someone at the service station recommended Sweet P’s to us. Drove a bit out of the way but sadly it’s closed on Friday and Saturday. This is a real shame as it looks like just the sort of place we like when traveling. We find the smaller Mom a Pop style diners are often just great. Oh well, maybe next time."

"Just a couple of minutes off the highway, definitely better than hitting any of the fast food stuff. home cooked meal, excellent fried chicken and seriously the best peas/beans combo I’ve ever eaten! Chef said the secret is in the beans. ;-) ———————————————- Update on Feb 16: Second visit. I don’t know what “dry Lima beans” are but I could just eat them as my entire meal. Wow! Also they are so nice to let me mix and match a piece of friend chicken and a piece of baked chicken. Both outstanding. Love this place. Pictures (Lima beans & chicken) are from 2nd visit"
