"Loved the food and loved the atmosphere! The staff was super catering and just a pleasure to be around. We called up there needing a table for 8 and by the time we got there we has the table set up and waiting for us. I love the auto 20% gratuity! It's about time servers got a fair wage for the hard work they do. 10/10 recommend! Gotta try it!"

"After spending the morning at Palafox Market we were feeling snackish. We decided to try out Slick Lips as we love seafood. After reviewing the menu we knew we had to try the chargrilled garlic parmesan oysters and the BBQ shrimp. They arrived promptly and the oysters were still slightly bubbling hot. They were both outstandingly delicious! The "bbq sauce" on the shrimp was deeply flavorful, and the pieces of bread that came with both were used to eat the sauce right off the plate. We received 7 very large peeled shrimp so just enough to satisfy our cravings. The oysters were nicely grilled and full of flavor as well. I could have eaten the whole dozen by myself but I managed to show some restraint and share. The server did make sure to point out the 20% service charge prior to us ordering, but I had already seen this on their website, so I was aware. I applaud the ownership for taking such a bold move in order to properly reward all of their staff. We will definitely return again and again!"

"Overall, I loved the fried shrimp. Atmosphere is very very nice , but the mandatory 20% gratuity for ALL, meaning each ticket, no difference if you dine alone or not, is what will not have me to return."

"We ordered the chargrilled oysters, the crab crusted grouper, and the red fish special. The oysters were very tasty. The Entrées were both good, but not spectacular. The service was good but nothing over the top which also has me questioning the 20% service charge. I’m not a fan of this type of policy. We typically will tip 20% anyway but this makes me not want to provide any additional tip when I am forced to give 20% regardless of the service."
