"I went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. The only dietary option for me who can’t eat seafood or too much beef was this pasta. Very limited entree options for non sea food eaters. It was not bad but fairly pricey for a plate of simple pasta with ground beef and red sauceZ Would be nice to see more options in the future."
"This place was incredible! The food, the service and the atmosphere were all perfect. I ordered the 18 oz. ribeye and my wife ordered the filet and we loved it. For dessert, she got the chocolate tulip and I ordered the millionaire’s coffee. Neither of us were disappointed. It is a little pricey, so I would recommend it for a special occasion, but everything here is great. Becky was our server and she was amazing. She was very attentive, extremely friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. I would highly recommend her. All in all, The Drift is a great restaurant that I plan to visit again the next time I’m in Pensacola."
"We picked this place because the menu looked so exquisite and delicious, and I'm glad we did, our dining experience was nothing short of fantastic. As soon as we walked in and waited to be seated we headed to the bar to get a drink, and I'm glad we did because the drinks that we got were absolutely delicious (blackberry bramble andthe Drift Drop are highly recommended) we could tell right then and there that this experience was going to be one of the better ones. We chose to sit outside and I'm glad we did, the view of the pier and the waves crashing along the shore while eating was absolutely heavenly. We opted for two starters, the grilled lamb lollipops, and the yellowtail crudo. Both were equally delectable. We couldn't make up our mind which one was the best but that yellowtail crudo was incredible. The lamb was good and moist. We moved in to our entrees in which she got the Grilled swordfish and I got the Duck Menage Es Tois. The swordfish light and buttery was on point, but the star was the duck, super moist sitting on a bed of duck confit risotto with a orange glace. And let me tell you I'm not a fan of greens but this one almost had pork belly flavor in it and ended up eating the whole plate, the sauce was made from a duck glace infuse with Grand Marnier. Without a doubt without a hesitation we will be back for another delicious meal. You definitely need to come try this."
"Absolutely splendid dining experience! The menu was creative, the customer service was excellent! Our server was knowledgeable about each dish and checked on us frequently, but not to the point of being bothersome. The food was well prepared and very flavorful…each person in our party of 4 loved their dish. The ambiance was set by a Florida chic vibe…and the prime location at the base of the Pensacola pier. This place is a definite must try!"
"We picked this place for our anniversary dinner due to its prime location on the beach and their upscale menu. Our server Sara was perfectly attentive and helpful. We chose the feature appetizer of fried soft shell crab, and for entrees we had the swordfish and duck. All of them were delicious, nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked. We both especially loved the swordfish which was moist and meaty. I ordered the duck cooked medium and it was perfect. Our only disappointment was the duck fat fries, which we ordered as an extra side. They looked and tasted quite ordinary. I was hoping for hand cut fries with a rich fatty flavor. Although it was a breezy evening, we chose to sit outside and enjoyed the views and fresh air. We will definitely return and maybe sit inside to enjoy the wonderful decor and a possibly better view of the sunset."
