Reviews
"I don’t know what reviewers are talking about but the lady who served me was very friendly and helpful. The chicken was fresh. I forgot to order my jalapeños but she was so nice she brought them out to me! The only negative I could say is that the place needs some TLC. I know Church’s chicken so I wasn’t deterred. I love their honey biscuits."
"Churches is one of those places that always has great chicken. I only wish they would spend a little bit of money on the building. It always looks fairly dirty and the workers are not the most friendly people. I understand today it's difficult to find people who want to work so you get what you get. It's just that a thank you sometimes goes a long ways. I know I always say it! And does it cost anything? Or is it difficult to say? Maybe just something for the employees and manager to think about."
"The staff here is very nice, although it seems that they are overworked. I overheard one lady saying she often has to work 12 hour shifts (I can't imagine working a fast food shift for 12 hours, there are some really tough people in this industry). The food is good and the staff is always nice to me. My Mom used to take me to this Church's location when I was a kid, and as an adult, I still come here at least a couple of times a month. I can't recall one time when they have gotten my order wrong. This area is in a rough part of town so you may encounter some sketchy people at this location. Most of them keep to themselves, but some are druggies and may approach you to ask for money. My advice to management is to avoid overworking your employees. There are some hard-working people at this location, and some of them need a break. Personally, if I were managing this location, I'd limit store hours before working my employees consistent 12 hours shifts. This will make it easier to retain quality employees."
"Food is okay. It's really really fresh, especially around lunch time sometime during the night. If you stop in you might have to ask for it fresh but other than that it's pretty good. I had some chicken one time from there. It was kind of lukewarm. It wasn't as hot as I expected it to be but around lunch time the chicken was really fresh and right out the oil."
"I will never go here again, they are ALWAYS out of food items and you still get charged for the items they don't have even if it's supposed to come with a meal. Then they forget part of the meal anyways! Today they didn't have anything I ordered and told me they only ever have original chicken, potatoes, and fries. No strips, no biscuits, no drinks. Don't waste your money or your time in a long wait line just to be disappointed and ripped off, Popeyes and KFC are right down the street."
