Reviews of Kiddie Academy of Pensacola
"My 3yr old, has been here since he was 1.5yr old. While I worked here as well, I felt so much at peace bringing him here than the last daycare he was in. All the teachers are loving and caring. Especially, Mrs.Keisha, his teacher. He loves her so much, and I’m very grateful for everything she has done for him. The administration, Ms. Marianne, Mrs. Ginny, and Mrs. Kylie is wonderful, and do as much as they can while tending to the staff and children’s needs. The owners, Britanne and Ryan, treat everyone here like family. Thank you so much for everything! ❤️"
"My daughter started at Kiddie Academy in April this year. In less than 7 months, we had issues with rough handling, poor communication and excuses. I will say that Ms. Sarah (who no longer works there), Ms. Ginny, Ms. Marianne and Ms. Mindy seem truly passionate about the children. I'm thankful for them and the experience they created. My daughter experienced 2 situations of rough handling by two separate teachers. Each time I witnessed this on the camera, I immediately went to the school. I was very upset. The first incident was by a teacher who not only put my daughter in her chair roughly (twice), he yelled at her to "stop crying!". I told the director (at the time) that I didn't want my daughter around him. They were supposed to move her into a new room. The director did not communicate this with the staff and my daughter was being held by him the next day. I immediately called and went to the school and they were scrambling to move her into a new room. The lack of communication and the tolerance for this behavior is completely unacceptable. The teacher was still allowed to work there after the director agreed with me on the rough handling of my child. Once my daughter was in the new room, she was doing so well. Then the teacher quit and that's when things changed. The morning teacher hardly ever spoke to my daughter or me. She was always eating and playing on her cell phone. I brought this to the directors attention and the owners attention multiple times with no resolution. One morning I had enough and sat in the lobby until one of the directors made it in, however, one of the owners talked to me. I explained the situation and my experience. He said the only options he has are to close down the rooms or they deal with what they have. There is no accountability for the teachers' actions! My daughter was moved (yet again) to her previous room (the teacher who was rough with her before was no longer there). The one teacher was very caring with her, however, the other was not. I saw her roughly handle my daughter, getting her off of her nap mat. She also set my daughter on the changing table and walked away. I immediately went to the school to speak with the director. I was emotional and upset. She agreed that the teacher made mistakes. I was told by the director that they feel that they will never be able to make me happy and that we should part ways. I requested a call from the owner and she has yet to respond. I'm holding them to a standard they set and their solution is to part ways. I've given them opportunities to fix their mistakes and I brought things to their attention as a concerned parent. I paid too much money for them to treat my child any way they want. I will not stand for it. I hope future parents of this establishment will continue speaking up and holding them accountable."
"Kiddie Academy is the very best! Everyone from owners down truly love all the kids and take great care of them. They are so clean! Food is well balanced and delicious. They are more than happy to accommodate special food needs. Cooks are so sweet with the kids. All the teachers and assistants interact with the kids and are constantly seen on the floor engaging with the children. The rooms are decorated in a fun educational way. They truly strive for greatness and it shows everyday. Everyone is so welcoming and delightful. Owners are always reachable if needed. They love hearing feedback. They have a great set schedule. I honestly could go on and on. Thank you Kiddie Academy for all you do to provide a fun safe environment."
"I would 100% recommend Kiddie Academy of Pensacola to anyone! My baby girl started there at just 2 months until almost 9 months (only reason we stopped is because we moved across country). She recieved WONDERFUL care from her teachers Ms. Kylie & Ms. Haley. I never had to worry about her!!! They did a great job at interacting with the babies and keeping to a great schedule. The director is so engaging and always makes you feel welcome. All the teachers were so nice and made it a great environment. Thank you to everyone at Kiddie Academy for making this first time mama feel better!"
"We have been at Kiddie Academy since opening day. The owners of this daycare seem to really care about their staff and because of that the staff seem to really care about the kids. They've had their growing pains like any daycare, but they are very much willing to communicate when they need to make a change. The center is clean, we love checking in on the cameras in the rooms, and good meals are provided each day (which is hard to find in Pensacola). There may be a couple of bad reviews on this daycare, but I would urge anyone to see this place for yourself! We are very thankful for Kiddie Academy!"
