"STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! In my opinion, this daycare needs to close down or be completely overhauled. My son has had colds, runny nose, ear infections constantly while in their care. Before being there he had never had problems. He had to have tubes put in his ears because of the amount of ear infections he had. He's been out of daycare for the summer and he's not had an ear infection since not being in daycare. My child was left in saturated diapers and left sitting in his on fecal matter on numerous occasions. They do not properly or safely use changing station or use gloves as DHR mandates. If I use a changing station now for my child he cries heavily when he doesn't otherwise. This leads me to believe his diaper changes have been traumatic. I walked in and saw the caregiver on her phone while the toddlers were running around. My child cried like I was leaving him to a death sentence when I had to leave him. Just because it's DHR approved doesn't mean it should be or that it is a safe or caring place. I don't think this facility would intentionally hurt children but they certainly don't care for them. People who work with children should WANT to work with children, not be there on their phones earning a paycheck meeting the legal requirements of a person in the room with babies. They throw all the kids cups into a handwash sink sharing all the children's germs. This place is asylum like. Children are constantly crying. It's just not a healthy place for children. Update, my child has been hurt many many times, bitten clawed, pushed, is forced to nap from 11:15 to 2:00, and the daycare refuses to allow me to pick him up before 11:30 a.m. His father is forcing him to go to this daycare when I am available to keep him. I beleive these people are instigating fights between the children and horribly neglext them. DHR has been notified numerous times."
"My 3 year old has been there almost two years. She loves it, and loves her teachers! They always let me know if she gets hurt or if something happens. (which has been few and far in between, but hey, she's toddler). They love my sweet girl like she is their own!"
"I just walked in the daycare where the children were no locked door. The baby room was full of babies two in caretakers lap feeding, one hung over in a swing sleeping, two in cribs standing up crying no blankets or ways to sooth themselves. I kept walking no question unsecured walked into next room filled with kids at a round table. I then walked outside to play area no problem just walk wherever. One teacher in each of those classes inside then four on the playground! Filthy not up to date with safety and very over limits of child per adult in daycare regulations. Don't enter very sad my first daycare I looked at to start my child in daycare and made me scared of all daycare systems for my child."
"If you want a clean environment for your kid this is not the place. My 7 month old child is sick with the stomach flu, sinus infection and also has pink eye just from staying there for 3 days. The last day we had picked him up he was covered in food literally all over him, in his ears. All over his shirt (even though he was sent with 2 bibs). In his hair and nose. He was filthy. His teacher informed me that he had a messy lunch. I told her that he had three extra outfits (that I have still yet to get back). I also asked why didn’t they change him and do they not clean them up after they eat and she said no in a smart way. When I get home that day he was fussy and crying more than usual he was not happy at all. Later that night he puked all over his crib then when I picked him up he was throwing up in my arms I had to run to the bathroom with him still throwing up and hold him over the toilet. After he had stopped puking he was so fussy I could tell he did not feel good I woke up a few hours later with vomit all over my husband and all over our bed and had diarrhea everywhere. He threw up the next morning. Took him to the doctor and they told me he has the stomach flue to give him pedialite for a few days. He has not gotten better only worse he won’t eat nothing he’s barely even taking the pedialite. The next day found out he has pink eye and a sinus infection. Not to mention when I brought him home the last day he had on a completely different kind of diapers then what I brought for him. I also had no diapers left when I sent a bag full. Also noticed when I got home the extra clothes and bibs I sent him along with the blanket and a pack of wipes I had for him was not in there. This is not the place for babies they do not clean after them, they are not sanitary at all whatsoever."
"It's not easy to leave this review because they are sweet people. I think it's very important to share my experience so maybe they can improve in areas that need improvement. My 8 month old started this day care when she was only 8 weeks old. I noticed that things were not disinfected to my standards. The changing table is just wood with no mat. Which can not be properly sterilized after each child. So I bought them a changing pad to place on their wooden changing table. When my child was barely 7 months old, I received a text message that my baby would be moved to the 1-2 year old room because she was the oldest in the infant room and they needed to make room for an employee's child to start. I was not happy with this. I noticed once they moved her to the new room, the changing pad I had purchased was gone. I knew this room was not a safe haven for my 7 month old. I had no choice in this matter. My now 8 month old has had Flu A, RSV, croup and 2 stomach viruses all within 4 weeks of being moved into this room. I finally found a new daycare to take my 2 kids, I put my notice in. The last day they went there, I was called to pick the baby up because she was vomiting everywhere. Long story short. She was rushed from South Baldwin to USA Womens and Children's hospital because her platelet levels had bottom out. Come to find out she now had E Coli. I feel like this day care doesn't take pride in cleaning. My baby could have been taken out because of their ignorance. This day care doesn't take pride in cleaning. They will put your infant around other sick kids. THEY DO NOT PROTECT YOUR BABY.... They will put big kids in the infant room. Which in my opinion is just wrong. The infants should be protected from the other kids germs. They think it's normal to contract all these viruses. I am so disappointed the care you all gave my baby Marie!"
