"I would not recommend this place. My daughter went there today and the women did her eyebrows even after she told her not to. She didn't just do it once she went on to continue and shape them after she said NO! It was a violation of her control of her own body and the women she not be able to continue to work in the field with people and their bodies if she cant respect people's needs and bodies."

"Dawn is amazing! She is very attentive and personable. My face was feeling very gross and dirty, I’ve been having my face break out a lot and just needed a good exfoliation. She did a customized facial on me and zapped away my blemishes. She explained to me all the things she was doing and it’s effects. I felt so hydrated and clean afterwards! She also has a super sweet doggy who makes my day every time! Def recommend coming here, Dawn is a wonderful and knowledgeable esthetician!"

"LONG REVIEW, BUT WORTH THE READ BECAUSE THE WAX BOX IS LIFE. I was so worried about coming here after moving from Atlanta, as I wasn't sure how well trained a small town business would be. Enter: The Wax Box. My mind was BLOWN! From the moment I walked in I took note of how CLEAN this business is. You can tell they really take pride in creating a hygienic environment, which was only made clearer when I found out that they don't recycle their wax. (For those of you who don't know if your salons recycle... you might want to look into that!!). Anyway, fast forward to my appointment with Dawn who was so friendly that my worries totally melted away. She had me laughing through the whole appointment and before I knew it it was over. Better than that? It's $15 cheaper than the place I used to get waxed in Atlanta. I've now been a customer for like 7 months, and I've tried multiple services with them. Coming from someone who never let anyone wax their brows, I got my first brow wax and tint here and I've never had so many compliments on my brows. I love the fact that Dawn isn't focused on thinning them out, rather keeping the natural shape. And the tint? It saves me a ton of time in the morning from not having to fill them in. Lastly, their facials. Since I'm broke but like to feel pampered, I was ecstatic to find out they had such cheap facials. They run like half the price of everywhere else, and the results really blew me away. I know this is a lot to put in a review, but I feel like it's the least I can do for a salon that has met me above and beyond my expectations. I've read reviews on here that don't agree with that, but the only thing I can think of is that those are employees that don't work there anymore because I've never had a bad experience. I've recommended so many of my friends at school here and they are all loyal customers now. Basically, if you're on the fence, BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT."
