"I do not recommend this location if you are trying to have anything done surgically. It’s not a place that cares about their patients, but thinks of them as dollar signs. I went here to have my wisdom teeth removed last July. I was given a best case and worst case scenario. Price was doubled. I was okay with those options because the second option was to help prevent nerve damage and was told I may need a bone graph on the lower left side of my jaw. The doctor that worked on me was Paul Schaner and he came in during my initial visit. He barely looked at my x rays and made it clear that there was nothing to worry about. I regrettably should have questioned him more about what was going to be done exactly or what would really would be done, but I trusted him. The day of my surgery when I awoke from surgery on my way home I asked my step mother how it went and what option they went with. Not surprised they went with the more expensive option but what I was surprised was that they did a bone graph on me that was never mentioned to me in my initial visit because he just glanced at it. They ended up doing a bone graph on the bottom right as well. Understandably I get they could not wake me from surgery to ask for my permission but no one told me after I woke up exactly what they did. They just gave me a little bag with a piece of paper that had instructions on cleaning, a Chick fil a “free milkshake” and said see you in three months. They didn’t give me any gauze or anything to help clean my wounds which was surprising especially after paying them thousands of dollars. Once I got dropped off ant my house I immediately drove back to the office bleeding from my mouth demanding what they actually did to me. I felt disrespected and violated for they did something to me while I was unconscious without my knowledge and without even letting me know after. The nurse Jasmine actually informed what they did and I wondered why I had to come back to be told this information. She ended up giving me to gauze in my mouth but nothing else. They also were hesitant to allow me to make payments. Even though they ended up charging me even more than the original worst case scenario which made me contemplate malpractice. Paul Schaner is a “White Snake” and I say that because the band was playing a song which is the last thing I remember. Should have taken that as a sign. I gave it two stars because the procedure actually didn’t leave me in long term excruciating pain but definitely felt like I was taken advantage of. Look elsewhere for any dental procedure you may need."
"I don't enjoy the dentist, never have and never will or so I thought. The professionalism, precision and tender care that the staff at this location of Atlanta Oral and Facial Surgery is amazing! For the first time in my life, I walked inti a dentistry office and didn't faint or feel weak or nauseated. I hope I don't have to have any more tooth extractions or bone grafting but if I do, I know who I'm calling."
"do NOT go here!!! I have been waiting OVER 1 hour AFTER my appointment time to get checked after my wisdom tooth was pulled. Even when I got my tooth pulled they stuck me 3 times with 3 different doctors because they said they couldn’t find my vein. I am very upset with this place!! When you take time OFF work to come, that is very frustrating. They are very inconsiderate of people’s time. I will never come here EVER again. The dentist TC was great but my experience was terrible."
"Had wisdom teeth surgery here, easy surgery. I have 4 stars instead of 5 because I did not feel they fully prepared me for surgery logistics and I was a little disappointed that I was not given ice packs or head wrap like some other places do for post op care. They also cancelled my initial appointment and I had to reschedule which was a nightmare. They said I couldn’t use the other doctor without another consultation. So I ended up having to have mine out before thanksgiving on a weekday verses a Friday as I initially intended. I also was not told that whomever had to drive me to and from appointment also had to stay the entire time, I was under so that created a bit of a hassle for the person who drove me. The front desk workers also slightly stressed me out the day of appointment and weren’t the friendliest, the ones working that day. Which maybe they were having a stressful day too. There is one really sweet girl but she sadly wasn’t in that day. But the nurses and doctor are great and super nice!"
"My son got all 4 wisdom teeth pulled and the staff treated him very well. Dr. Levy is very good. He explained everything to both my son and I so we could understand. He called us at home to check on his progress. Very professional! Excellent customer service from all his staff. I was so impressed I am now scheduled to see him for an implant. I highly recommend Dr. Levy."
