"Me and my partner often visit this store, and we love it there. It's a fantastic spot with an old-world charm. If you know what you're looking for— I have found many a collectors' pieces at ridiculously low prices. The staff is helpful and kind, and are genuinely informed and invested in the products and customers."
"Wow. I’ve spent well over 500 here in the past year, but I will never be back. I’ve always gotten a bad vibe from 2 of the female staff members (the older male staff members have always been polite, informative, and non condescending). Most of the time I was simply just overhearing petty and cruel gossip, or feeling their eyes on me as I wandered through the store. My final straw was an interaction with Penelope. I asked to see a sweater behind the counter and she replied with “Just so you know it’s an extra small. For reference, I can fit it” and then pointed to her body. I said cool well I’d still like to see it. As I was examining it she asked if I was looking for the size. I said no I’m looking for the components. While this could be perceived as innocent on paper, her demeanor was condescending, shaming, and cocky."
"Beautiful well organized store. But the staff lacks manners and decent decorum. The only words that comes to mind is snobbish and condescending which isn’t cool when running a place of business, especially a Christian based one. My husband who is super chill and the first to give another the benefit of the doubt said that he felt unwelcome and wouldn’t come back. Based on the reviews, I’m not the only who feels this way. Do better."
"While this store has high-quality items and is well organized, I would not return based on the staff interactions I witnessed. A person experiencing homelessness entered the store requesting some clean clothes. The woman behind the counter shouted at him and told him that he could not wander in the store. Though someone eventually gave him clothes, the way in which the woman treated him was childlike, rude, and unchristian. The store seems to cater to an older crowd and has high quality clothing items (ex. talbots, orvis, etc.) but many items are priced much more than they are worth. I'll take my business to other thrift stores unfortunately."
"wish I could give no zeros. Went here to find a replacement printer for my office . My elderly mother was with me. As soon as we pulled in the parking lot the workers just looked at us as if we were not human and didn't say a word. I didn't want to be intimidated so i still went in. Both workers went to the other side of the store to ignore us. I left after the rude treatment and seeing how they pretty much had lots of over priced garbage. My mother was worried because this is how people use to treat people who look like us in the past. its a shame too , i like supporting local businesses and always wanted to go here. Bright side is , i found what i was looking for at goodwill. :)"
