"Hunt's thrift is notorious for overcharging for items they get for free. Full retail on new coats they get from Target. High end resale values on shoes they see on Ebay that have been cleaned and marked up to cover shipping and fees. You know a thrift store has gone full tilt when they have glass cases like an antique shop full of vintage stuff. When thrift stores start marking up items and acting like vintage shops, they alienate every kind of customer they have. They are telling the needy that they don't deserve the items, the thrifty that this isn't the place to find a deal or treasure, and the reseller that they need to go elsewhere. There is no customer that walks into a thrift store intending to pay full retail or more for an item. Most of this started when reselling on Ebay became popular and the thrifts saw resellers getting more for their items. At the end of the day however the thrift stores are taking on the costs of listing items, shipping items, etc... Personally, I feel they should be in the turn and burn business, get a decent price for things and move them quickly."
"This place takes thrift store to a new level. I am in town visiting and decided to stop in. They have everything. So many clothes items with tags still on, big and small sizes, furniture with endless possibilities to restore or repurpose. I wish we had a place like this where I’m from. Will definitely check it out again."
"Love shopping in here ,it just seems like they forget this is a second hand store,u Mitiss, well, go get it brand new!! Prices are too high, but I can't stop going there to shop!!! Lol"
"Great thrift store with great prices. The store is very organized and clean. Not all items are used, I have found many brand new items with original tags."
"BE WARNED, DO NOT BUY , evidently they are in business of making sure something works just long enough to see the lights come on at the store and once you make it to the house, it’s dies. No returns or exchanges, to heck with trying to take care of your customers and hope they spread a good word and bring in more business, they are more worried about the almighty dollar! Do not visit, spend your money where it will do some good and you’ll at least have an exchange policy, Goodwill or Restore Habitat for Humanity."
