"When I say I love this school I love this school. The staff is fantastic. The director Nikki is the best director I’ve ever come across. She loves her job and the students and it shows. If I could give this school 10 stars I would."
"The owner and management doesn’t seem to care anything for specific individuals. From my experience they seem to group minorities and treat them a different type of way. If the child doesn’t ‘fit the mold’ or in my opinion, ‘fit the pattern’ that the deem fit, doesn’t get the attention they deserve. As well as, upper management cares more about revenue, than being determined to do the right thing, by any means necessary. Willing to bend the rules and overlook others, if you want your child to have the proper education and care, this is not the place to be."
"My daughter has been going here on and off for 2 years. (I’m a Ga Pre K teacher, so sometimes she has to go where I work during the school year because of the distance of my job and in time for my position). We went to 4 different child care facilities before settling at Duncan Creek, because there were always a lot of issues at other facilities. After my daughter went to my school while I was working this past year, she returned to Duncan Creek for the summer and she will be attending Ga Pre K at Duncan Creek this fall. She is so happy to be back and always loves to go. At my jobs where she had to attend other child care (other daycares), she only went because she knew she would see me and she would go on about how she liked Duncan Creek better and how she couldn’t wait to return there. One amazing thing I have noticed about Duncan Creek compared to other child care facilities and the facilities I have worked at is that there is an extremely low turn over rate. My daughter is 4 years old now and the 2 year old class teacher she had at 2 years old is still there and is still the 2 year old class teacher. That is very rare for a lot of places. With the teacher shortage currently occurring in our state, most places have a high turnover rate and you will constantly see different faces throughout the year. This is not the case at Duncan Creek. I still see all the same faces I saw 2 years ago. That means they care about their employees and when an employer cares about their employees, it trickles down to how the employees take care of the students and the level of consistency they have. Another amazing thing about Duncan creek is that their class size/ratio always stays low in comparison to other places. Other places I have worked that my daughter has attended or other places I haven’t worked and she’s attended, they have had huge class sizes. This is proven by research to cause lots of anxiety for students/children. So I always feel assured about my daughter’s well being knowing that their class size is very small compared to most places. For example, at the last place I worked, the 3 year old class had 32 students (3 year olds) all in one class. My daughter always seemed anxious about going to her class and was so excited to leave. In comparison at Duncan Creek, my daughter has a total of 15 kids right now. 1/4 of them aren’t there sometimes, so when I drop her off, I only ever see about 7-10 kids in the class. That a huge difference compared to 32 students (3year olds) in a classroom everyday! Duncan Creek Academy is a wonderful and safe place to send your children where you know you can rest assured that they are safe and having fun! My daughter takes dace classes on Tuesdays in the morning at Duncan Creek and loves the water day/splash pad on Thursdays. They also have parent’s night out on some Friday’s from 6-11 pm (for a cost), which is amazing when you need a night or extra time to yourself!"
"My experience with everyone from the front staff (Niki) to all the teachers has been wonderful. When we were considering DCA in the first place we had a great tour experience to calm our nerves as first time parents and ever since it's been just a great. The teachers here are absolutely wonderful and the cameras they have installed really keep us at ease. We love DCA!"
"This daycare has been our home for about 4 years now and we absolutely LOVE it! My daughter started going to them when she was about 10 months old, and she is now 4. They were so welcoming to her, and then to my son when he started going around 8 weeks old! I left the daycare to stay home with my children last year in 2021, and when it was time to sign my daughter up for Pre-K, Duncan Creek was the first school on my mind to send her too! She adores Ms. Cindy and Ms. Maria (her teachers,) and all of the staff! I've never had a bad experience at DCA and I am so thankful to have found such a great school that works with me, my schedule, and adore my children like they do!"
