"Absolutely ridiculous experience here this week. My mom has been a repeat customer of this sewing shop - Coming here for routine cleanings and the occasional machine repair. Recently, she got her machine cleaned and they left a part out when returned to her. She went in to try and fix the situation and either find the missing part or get a new one and the customer service was TERRIBLE. The manager she dealt with was beyond rude and accused her of lying about losing the part instead of just trying to help her. Regardless of where the piece went or what happened…… That is not the way you handle a customer of 10+ years. 10/10 do NOT recommend & I wish I had the managers name so her managers could know what terrible service she provides"
"I came in to lease a machine. I did all of the paperwork just for them To tell me to come back days later. Apparently, they couldn’t finish the lease until a later date. So, I couldn’t even leave with the machine that day. That would’ve been nice to know before I drove 2 hours up there with my father/his truck. I come on the date they said and everyone was very kind. They assured me I could call if I had any issues. I also bought a set of Fast Frames for around $400. They said they’d order them/ship them to me when they arrived. I go home to use the machine. Along came issue after issue. After hours of troubleshooting each issue that came up, I decide to call. I ask for my Salesperson, Marian, and am told time after time “she’s busy, she’ll call you back.” DAYS go by. I have holiday orders to fulfill. I resort to FB groups. I was on the phone with a tech for 4 HOURS. She, nor anyone else, can figure out what is wrong with it. Everyone thinks it’s a faulty machine. When Marian finally does call back, she is rude. Every “troubleshooting” question is asked in a condescending tone and during one phone call, I even hear women giggling in the background after every rude remark she makes. It seems I’m on speaker being listened to by other employees. Every thing she asks me if I’d done, I HAD already done because I’d been troubleshooting for DAYS before she finally called. She then says she can’t help me unless I bring it to the store. I’m 5’2 and cannot lift it into my car nor will it fit. My dad/boyfriend struggled to get it out when we got home- it will be impossible for me. I say this and she says “We can’t help where we’re located.” Sure, But when a machine that’s “brand new” goes kaput after a few days, you’d think you’d be more willing to help. Your solution shouldn’t be me dragging it up there two hours away for the third time in under a month. I called Babylock and they said you should be more than willing to get a tech to my home. they say only my dealer can help. Marian proceeds to say “You can decide if you want to let people on Facebook help you, or US.” Marian, I’d like for ANYONE who is able, to help me. I ask if she can send her tech out and she refuses, saying she needs him there to help customers. I am a customer, too. I paid over $12,000 at this store (which I assume is on COMMISSION) for you to treat me like this. As I ask her follow up questions, she says “You’re NOT listening.” In tears, I ask “Why are you speaking this way to me?” She said “because you ARE NOT LISTENING.” I was listening. I was asking follow up questions to your statements, Marian, to ensure I do the right thing with this VERY EXPENSIVE, NON RETURNABLE MACHINE. Do not tell me to come to you if I need help, if you’re going to treat me like DIRT when I do. Onto the Fast Frames. Weeks go by. I follow up many times. No one answers. Then, I get a voicemail, finally, saying “your fast frames are ready, come pick them up.” Yet I was told they’d be shipped to me. I call and days later, my call is finally returned. She says “we will ship them but they aren’t here yet.” Yet Someone called and said they were! I ask to just cancel. I get a “refund” email, but after days, I see no money returned. I call/email several times. Finally, she emails me back and says she gave me store credit. On my receipt, it says Everything besides classes and machines are returnable within 30 days for a refund. And, this isn’t a return, it’s a cancelation. After more hassle, she refunds the money. I haven’t heard from anyone since. No one ever asked if my machine got working (it didn’t). Steer clear of this place. They will act sweet, take your money, and RUN. Don’t think for one second they will help you after you spend your money and walk out the door. Their Machines are FINAL SALE. If they sell you a faulty machine, like they did me, you’re stuck. To whoever owns this place: do better. Ensure your employees are treating customers with kindness, and at the very least, Human decency and respect. And If you have calls recorded, give them a listen. I am disgusted."
"I was not a customer, but was having a bit of a car related crisis outside their shop. THESE FOLKS ARE SO KIND. Even though they were closed for inventory, they let us use the restrooms and gave us water and candy and soothing words while we waited for roadside assistance. They really are good people."
"Very happily with the service in this store. I took my Bernina 440 which I have had for 20 years to be fixed and a gentleman named Paul was able to help me and show me something about it that I didn’t know after using it all this time. He was so helpful and knowledgeable. They are lucky to have Paul and I will be returning to this store and will recommend it my sewing friends."
