Reviews of The Cotton Fair
"I have been going to this event for 30 years. It is always a great time. Found 2 antique wall hangings I have been wanting that I've never seen anywhere else. Beautiful day, nice people. Great finds. I'll be back first weekend of Oct."
"$15 per person entry is ridiculous. The person at the gate didn’t say how much it was and just ran the card. I didn’t find out until later that it cost my family of 3 $45 to get into a craft fair that takes about 2 hours to see everything. Total rip off. *response- child prices don’t affect my family. The lack of clear communication about pricing on the advertising and again at the gate is unethical. Congrats. Hope the repairs to the private property are done. Won’t be back."
"parking lot very wide enough for thousands cars, but just dirt and gravel, multiple vendors ready for customers"
"A lot of people! But, it was fun walking around and seeing all of the vendors with original stuff from macramé to wooden toys and anything else you could imagine. The food was great, though more expensive than I would like to have paid, but what fair doesn’t have expensive food? The thing that really got my attention is that the animal shelter was at the entrance with a pet adoption drive, and people were adopting. I was also impressed with the music and atmosphere. Good times! They have the fair in May and October, go to the website for more information. And come to the fair, now called “The Cotton Fair.”"
"Great variety of crafts and talents. Some food vendors a bit expensive, others were very reasonable. We bought fried chicken , then a gyro. Several $5 taster size bags of goodies kept us busy too. Several live shows. We caught part of the Bluegrass presentation and Part of Peter Hart's Puppet involvement. The kids were mesmerized by the puppets. After Peter's show I told him I remembered a similar show at UNDERGROUND ATLANTA 25 years ago. He confirmed THAT WAS HIM!."
