"Had a late lunch at this place the other day - first time. My wife and I are VERY critical of the asian food we venture to because 1) we're Asian and have had the best of the best through our domestic and international travels....and 2) we're foodies at heart no matter the culinary genre. Pros: having said all that, this place is very convenient in the area where there's not many choices for distinct and quality. The lunch specials have great prices and portions! great variety of Asian dishes from Chinese, to Japanese, to Thai Lunch prices are very aggressive and fair Full bar option always a plus FRESH skilled and authentic sushi bar always a plus!! Great customer service Cons Flavor of food is particularly watered down - example: ginger salad dressing is thinned out and watered down Clear soup is bland - better to go with miso soup (not sure this is an option) Curry is watered down without a strong concentration of coconut milk to thicken the sauce. Grilled hibachi proteins are lacking flavor Then we tried to give this place a second chance with a takeout order: Called in an order of Pad Thai, Gen Tso's Chicken, and Hibachi steak+Shrimp. The Bad: - gen tso was stale. How is this even possible? Tasted like the chicken was super old and the breading wasn't even fully cooked/fried on the outside - steak hibachi was again lacking flavor. - shrimp hibachi was tough and over cooked The ugly: - pad Thai noodles were undercooked and lacked flavor. I'm pretty sure we won't be visiting there again."
"Purchased two sushi rolls. The seaweed was a little tough on one of the rolls otherwise very tasty. I asked for a side of spicy mayo it was excellent. Ordered vegetable, stir fried rice to go. Not just the standard peas and carrots, but it included fresh mushrooms, broccoli, carrots, zucchini, egg and onions. I would highly recommend. When I brought to their attention the seaweed, was a bit tough ,they gave me 20% off my meal, which was very nice. I told them not to, but they insisted.."
"We really like this place. We usually come every Sunday after church. My wife loves sushi and I do well with sushi. I will tell you place isn't perfect but it's about as close as you can get the perfect without being perfect. We have tried a few different things and have always been very satisfied with our choices. The service is incredibly great. The friendliness of the staff makes it the perfect place to come after church on a Sunday. The prices are in line with every other place that's so sushi. It's not overly priced and you don't feel like they have a charged enough, so it's perfect for what they're doing. I would highly recommend coming here if you're in the area. Looking for good sushi or good Asian food"
"This place was good. Nice atmosphere, let’s us taste some sake free of charge. They brought out free appetizer too. Very courteous staff and professional. I will definitely come back here. We brought our two young children and they were not annoyed or dismissive. Some establishments think young kids are too noisy but they have children’s menus to keep them occupied."
"Lettuce wraps are the best. Perfectly fried sweet and sour and general Tso chicken. Not too much batter. The owner always keeps the sake coming and the brings the set up for sake bombs. My wife loves the Phad Thai and fillet hibachi. The banana roll is different and amazing. Philly cheese egg roll is really good. Grilled broccoli is perfect. Pineapple fried rice has a bunch of pineapple. When you eat in they give you these wontons that are sweet as an appetizer, those are worth the trip alone. We always get the 10 rolls for $49 for party’s and football games. All of their specials are fantastic. Lunch, roll, Monday and Wednesday specials. I hadn’t been in a while bc of work schedule and revisited recently they’ve done some tweaks and everything is amazing. I’ve been going weekly. The variety makes that easy. You can tell that the owner Jack takes pride in his business and his food. I think he is always there and runs a tight ship. Don’t see that a lot these days. The Egg drop soup is a bit different and I’m still on the fence. It’s not neon yellow and probably made from scratch or healthier so I’ll give it another shot."
