Reviews of White Diamond Jewelers
"I bought a set of 10K gold earrings for our daughter. The next day one of the earrings just fell apart for no reason. I came in the store to return it. The seller and an old man began yelling at me and saying no one can guarantee that things can't break. They accused us of stepping on it. It was very poorly crafted, foil-thin and flaked off in our hand. I could not return the product in their store and had to dispute the transaction with the bank."
"I was reluctant to post this, but I see it’s a common experience for customers based on these reviews .. DO NOT SHOP HERE. My husband purchased a gold chain somewhere else for $1,200 (from our regular jeweler) . Out of curiosity we went into this store looking for a specific pendant and asked them to weigh it. Gave us the run around and then told us the chain was worth 600.. when I started talking about weight per gram and Karat total. She quickly realized I was an informed buyer and walked her statement back saying it was “ a error in calculation” … There’s also something odd and unsettling about jewelers who are reluctant to diamond test their own inventory for customers, always have items marked as 3000+ but “for me” it’s 800, don’t do returns, don’t want to weigh jewelry when asked. It’s shady and unethical business practice. Save your money"
"Traveling from Texas, a ring caught my eye while window shopping. Told me it was 10k gold with 2ct of diamonds. Before paying I asked the owner to diamond test it before I pay and they gave me the run around that the tester wasn’t working but assured me the ring was legit. We agreed on a price of 2k and I went back to Texas to my local Kay jeweler, tested it, and the rocks were all glass. Do not shop here this dude is a scam!"
"They are definitely scammers. I would tell NO ONE to go there. I was supposed to get a customized charm, it was nothing like what I asked for. It was supposed to be diamonds but when asked he said they were some type of stones, but NOT diamonds. I hate losing money, which is what I definitely did here. Please do not spend 1 cent here. They are crooks."
"I previously left a 2-star review for White Diamond, but now I am editing it to a higher rating after receiving the product that we ordered. They gave us a decent quality product for literally half the price of other jewelers. Communication is not the best and it took a lot longer than they initially promised, but we would probably go back to them again. Details below... My previous bad review was because the communication with Harry and his staff was pretty awful throughout this process. They consistently gave me deadlines that they did not meet and could not deliver on the promises they made initially. When I'd call to check on things, they would placate me with "I'm personally working really hard on this" and "I promise I'll call as soon as I have more information." The only time that they actually called us when they said they would was before we had put down a deposit when they were still trying to make the sale. Not going to lie, there were moments where I was scared that they were somehow scamming us. HOWEVER, I've had a bit of a change of heart after receiving the final product. We gave them a pretty challenging custom job- I had an engagement ring set in silver that I wanted to be replicated in yellow gold with a wedding band to match. The quotes we got for this work from places like Jared, Kaye and Zales were over DOUBLE the price that Harry gave us, AND Harry basically threw in my husband's wedding band for free. To be clear, we could not have afforded to get these rings if it weren't for Harry and White Diamond. And the rings are gorgeous! There are a couple of minor issues with the quality which probably wouldn't have occurred at a more mainstream jeweler, but I'm really the only person who will notice. Overall we are thrilled with the product."
