The Southern Shakespeare Company, located in Tallahassee, Florida, is dedicated to bringing the works of William Shakespeare to life through high-quality productions and educational programs. Our mission is to engage, educate, and entertain our community through the power of Shakespeare's timeless stories.
Our dedicated board and staff work tirelessly to ensure that each production is a success, and our patrons play a key role in supporting our mission. We have received positive press for our innovative approach to Shakespearean theater.
Currently, we are holding auditions for our upcoming production of Much Ado About Nothing, following all CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of our participants. Masks are required during in-person auditions, and all participants must be free from fever and flu-like symptoms.
We ask for your cooperation in keeping everyone safe during auditions, and encourage anyone feeling unwell to consider a self-taped or Zoom audition. Your health and safety are our top priority as we continue to bring the magic of Shakespeare to the Tallahassee community.
