"Watched a great band there for 1st Friday"
"Actually I'm just responding to the negative one star review from Iris “irisfromohio” Bayless-Dunson. She has posted once before and I believe her review needs to be put into context. Here is what I wrote to her: Hey Iris! Thank you for supporting your adult daughter in this latest Mickee Faust show. We loved working with her. It can’t be easy for you when you are offended by so many of Faust’s LGBT+ powered values of radical inclusion. And you have made it clear that you have a hard time with our uncensored language and our adult themes. I’m delighted and a bit surprised that you saw enough of this latest show to comment on—you often spend your time at Faust waiting in your car for the rehearsals or shows to finish. But I am glad you always make the effort to come back in to see the scenes that your daughter is in. But I believe this last Shakes-parody you attended was during the Wet Run, which is when we are only half-way through our rehearsal period and still working out its kinks. I fear I was remise in not explaining what we were doing when I saw you in the back of the theater that day and said hello and told you again how proud we were of your daughter’s performances. Had you come back for the show proper, you would have seen something far more polished. And funny! But I do understand that even when Faust is in show mode, it still isn’t quite your cup of tea. Again, thank you for being there to support your daughter’s choices even when her choices would never be your own."
