"I'd definitely give the place more than 5 stars if I could! we panned for gold for real, and then did gem mining, they have a HUGE almost museum of the old gold mine equipment all still set up and I believe most of it still works!! couple of interactive pieces to enjoy, then the store is absolutely Massive, they will even cut jewelry from the stones you mine! really cool experience! Very friendly people! Highly recommend"

"This is a must stop for rock hounds, prospectors, or family outings. The overall experience was great. You can pan for REAL GOLD buy and break geodes, take a hayride style tour of a real working gold mine and learn the history of the mine, and the gift shop is a hobby prospector/rock hound superstore."

"Definitely go here! Best mine in town. I went with two small kids and they left with tons of gems. The gold mining lessons are also wonderful. I was alone with a stroller (there are some steps to manage down to the mining area) and an employee named Hunter ran up to help me down. He spent a lot of time teaching my daughter how to pan for gold and told her all about the gems she found. He also carried the stroller all the way back to the top for us. It’s a great mine, and Hunter’s excellent service really made it for us!"

"This place is great. We are just getting into prospecting and we supported this place 100%. They are very knowledgeable and know their equipment. We bought our bags to find gold and gems. There was so much to take home. The girls at the counter were very nice and helped me pick out a ring setting for a garnet out of one of my finds today. My husband got a beautiful wedding band. I highly recommend going at least once."
