"My Family and 2 dogs traveling from Florida to St Louis in my 2016 Chevy Silverado, broke down in Dothan Alabama. The truck went into limp mode, 30mph max, a local shop I “limped” into turned us down. Another local place that I called asking if they could hook it up and read the code told me they were booked up until Monday (this was on a Saturday) I had my 80 year old Mother, another Female and two dogs with me! I googled diesel mechanics near me, called the “high rated” listing - no answer. Next call was to this Guy - he answered immediately, we discussed the problem I was having, he told me that he was working on a truck at that time but that he would call me as soon as he was done - and in the meantime he gave me recommendations on places nearby to take my family while waiting. He called me back as promised, met me at the hotel we were at, diagnosed the truck issues and literally spent his entire Saturday evening working on my truck on the parking lot of the hotel. One of the nicest, most knowledgeable and honest Guy I’ve ever met! We were able to continue our remaining 10 hours home safe and sound without any further issues. He even called us about 45 minutes before we made it home just to check on us! He’s definitely one of the good Guys! Thank you Jacob!
