Turner Classic Movies

"TCM has suddenly removed itself from Comcast's basic channel lineup. Now viewers have to pay $10 a month to watch movies we have been watching on basic cable for decades. Many of us cannot afford an extra $10 a month. No notice was given us. TCM shows absolutely no regard for its "fans" -- it just wants their money. Shame on you, TCM."

"One of the very, very few cable tv channels that has managed to retain my affections over the years. They've actually remained true to their original purpose of playing classic (pre 1960s) movies 24/7. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to cable tv but sometimes I can find special TCM edition DVDs. (Perhaps they can be convinced to start a broadcast network for us non-cable subscribers.)"

"Watching Song of Freedom starring Paul Robeson. I give you 5 stars for the movie but 1 star for not putting his name in the by line. You always put the actors and actresses name. Why did you not for this Beautiful movie and person??"

From "KATHERINE HEPBURN" to "SPENCER TRACY", From "LAURENCE OLIVIER" to "JUDY GARLAND", "GENE KELLY" to "FRED ASTAIRE", "BING CROSBY" to "BOB HOPE" & "HUMPHREY BOGART" to "JOHN WAYNE", Just to Name a Few of the GREATEST STARS to ever GRACE the SILVER SCREEN. I've watched "TCM" Since it's DEBUT in 1995 With "GONE WITH THE WIND" Kicking off a LONG STANDING LEGACY of the most OUTSTANDING FILMS to be Shown & Enjoyed by MANY FILM FANS. I've ALWAYS liked & respected Mr. Robert Osbourne & his HOSTING DUTIES on PRIMETIME & Mr. Ben Mankiewicz is a VERY TALENTED & LIKEABLE & KNOWLEDGEABLE Movie Host ALSO. My Wife & I have always thought that BOTH GENTLEMEN were GREAT To Watch & made Movie Watching even MORE FUN. I'll MISS Robert & "THE ESSENTIALS" w/ him AS HOST & the GREAT CONVERSATIONS he had w/ Alec Baldwin, Who also ADDED a GREAT DEPTH of KNOWLEDGE. "TURNER CLASSIC MOVIES" has & will ALWAYS BE A Favorite Destination of My Wife's & I. I had IMAGINED MYSELF being "A HOST" on "TCM" & had thought about SENDING IN A VIDEO, but NEVER Did. I HOPE THAT "TURNER CLASSIC MOVIES" CONTINUES TO BE THE BEST & CONTINUES TO SHOW THE BEST FROM THEIR VAST & LARGE MOVIE VAULT."
