"Am really disappointed with the end result of property medics work. We had a leak downstairs that resulted in us needing to have the place dried out, floors, door frames and baseboard replaced, a toilet, cupboards and countertops removed then reassembled, sections of walls removed then rebuilt with drywall and plaster plus having all the walls repainted. To start with, one of their humidity specialists, Wesley, asked me straight off the bat to write him a positive review and make sure i named him in it. Pressured me to open google in front of him to write it. I didn't want to anger him as it was just me and my toddler alone in the house with him at that point. Just wrote it and then deleted it later. Wesley then called my husband and asked him where my review went and why would i remove it. My husband then wrote a review just to get him to stop as he was coming off as quite unhinged at that point. We were told that our furniture and countertops would be covered for protection but they weren't. Our brand new couches got covered in dust and the leather got marked and dented. As soon as i saw the baseboard i asked Remy about all the nails holes and hammer marks and he told me to not worry about the small stuff as it would all be fixed in the end when the crew did final touch ups. This is something he repeated often, even texting me specifics about how the painters would fix it. That was most definitely a lie as my baseboards and door frames still look like garbage today. They also scratched up the trim in multiple areas when removing the floors. The painters didnt prep the walls before painting. No cleaning, patching or smoothing. They painted over or around anything that was on the wall, leaving really obvious brush marks and paint drips down the walls. They didnt use painters tape so the edges are really sloppy with paint going on my ceiling and trim. The cabinet guy scratched my wooden pantry counter, chipped paint from the walls in some spots and scratched the brand new floors in multiple places He didnt remove the old, white sealant from the bathroom sink before applying new, clear sealant so it looks messy. He also didnt actually attach the granite countertop in my kitchen so it was just perched precariously on top until i managed to get Remy to come seal it on. The floor guys had to come and replace the flooring that was damaged during the cabinet install and to fix the scratch on my countertop made at the same time. They didn't colour match the wood stain so their attempt to fix it looks like garbage. We also reached an agreement, through Remy, where they would patch up and seal some cracks in my shower grout and tile as an apolgy for damaging our couch. They told me they only had white grout so the patching is very obvious. I asked remy multiple times to check that they'd sealed it too as i didnt want to use my shower until i was sure. He assured me it was. The grout is already wearing away so turns out that was a lie too. The toilet keeps having the sealant at the base crack. The guy that came to fix it said its because the toilet is moving a bit but then tried to convince me that it was installed properly despite it being wiggly enough to feel it move when i sit down. That same guy tried to tell me that the very obviously unfilled nail holes in the baseboard and door frame, had in fact already been filled. Said that if i wanted a smooth door frame then i would need to replace it entirely. But it WAS replaced entirely so should look new, not banged up. The whole process was really, mentally taxing. I kept having my concerns dismissed and being promised an end result that would never eventuate."
"I love the professionalism of this company. Daniel came to assess my damage and did a very thorough analysis. He explained the process and what steps I needed to take to file my insurance claim. He was very easy to reach and stayed in constant communication with me. They sent a crew out by the name of Zach, Zion, Randy, and Jamie. They ensured to give me a detailed explanation of what they were going to do and asked my permission to discard any items that they assessed needed to be disposed of. They finished a heavy workload a lot sooner than I anticipated and left their work area very clean. When you have an unexpected crisis in your home it’s comforting to have a company that assists you with this type of standards with their staff. Thank you !"
"Remy and his team at Property Medics did a great job on my mom’s home. She had soft tissue overflow which destroyed everything downstairs. After going back and forth with the insurance company for months we were finally able to start repairs and Remy was our go to guy! It was a process to get things done, but good things come with time. His team did great! New floors, paint, and reconstruction!!! Thanks you Property Medics for sending Remy to us."
"Wesley and Kyrcus were very professional with getting the job With efficiency. I was proud to see two young men with this kind of work ethic. We had a supply line break in the bathroom. I was referred to Property Medics Mr. Shea Week was out in less than an hour to respond to our urgent issue. Send out the various team to solve the different issues from the damage . Patrick brought out the dehumidifiers and etc. also, the pack up crew - Then the demolition team, Cory, Tas, Quze, Jess sorry if I miss any of the crew members, i appreciate They’re efficient services."
"Remy and his Rebuild team did a phenomenal job. Quick, efficient, hard working. I can’t say enough good things about him and his team. Truly. The Tear out team equally did a good job. In & out. Efficient. Back story..This process began in mid-August. Rebuild finished today, 26 October. There was a whole lot of time between the two. Far too much. I was told our project was fast tracked. Really? So what would be considered slow? Communication with PropertyMedics is where I want to camp out. I have never dealt with a company so difficult to communicate with. Getting answers or information was like pulling hen’s teeth. I wish I were exaggerating. It remained this way till Remy and his crew were assigned to our Rebuild. Remy is an excellent communicator. He answers his phone calls & texts. I truly can’t say enough good things about Remy. I have read the other reviews. I am the lone dissenting voice. Nonetheless, I am being entirely truthful. Would I recommend PropertyMedics? Honestly, I wouldn’t. I wish I could. Really, I do, but I place high value on communication. Something I never got till Remy. Everything was better with him. So much of the confusion and issues over these months could have easily been resolved with communication."
