"First impression is always the best it will either develop into a long lasting relationship or destroy it from the very start. Brandon and Southside diesel chose to destroy an initial visit with and future visits. I brought my truck there to get looked over to see what the problem was and an hour later i was charged $160.00 to change a $30.00 air filter that took all of 10 minutes. I then was told that my exhaust manifold needed to be changed and my first quote from Brandon was close to $1100.00 then 30 minutes later it went up to $1600.00. Thank God i knew and delt with other diesel mechanic shops. My exhaust manifold didn't need to be changed(rarely does) it was the gaskets that were purchased from the dealer with a 20% discount that totaled less than $150.00 and labor that was $400.00. I own more than one dually truck as well as a transportation business, with a a sea of other truck owners that are looking for the same as me in a diesel shop. No reliability, No honesty, Not trustworthy! Beware of who you allow to give you quotes on your property and possession of your property. I don't know if Southside diesel has the experience because all was done to my vehicle was a air filter change that can easily be done by just about anyone in less than 10 minutes. Save your money, save your time and yes i did report South side diesel to BBB. I really wish i could of gave NO STARS!"

"Truck was suppose to be fixed in a week for around $6k. Took 3 weeks @$8500 and the brakes, among several other things didn't work when truck was returned. Some parts were broken, inoperable, unplugged, and mis-installed. The truck went directly to another shop so it would be usable for an extra $2k over the inflated price I was charged by southside diesel."
