"Hailey in the office is beyond rude. I called and scheduled my own warranty appt because they show with no warning. I requested a precall because I work five minutes away. The technician showed up did not ring my doorbell and proceeded to leave. She called me and told me nobody was home. I told her that I requested a precall. She tried to blame it on DR Horton but I reminded her that I spoke to her and she had an attitude basically blaming me for not being at home. She told me that the technician was going to go work on the empty homes and he will come back later. By the time he pulled out all of his equipment, I was already at the house because I could see him down the street, own your mistake. I work for a custom home builder and subs are required to wait 15 minutes before they move onto the next job so either way they were in the wrong. We will never contract northwest plumbing because of her attitude. If you want better reviews, get a better office. The few good reviews they have are probably family and friends, trying to boost their terrible score"
"Just finished building my home and about to move in. Tested the water and found out that the pressure was way too high. Our builder called the plumber to call me and schedule an appointment. Got a call the next day, scheduled for the afternoon of the next day (5 hour window), with a note stating for the plumber to call me 1 hour before arrival. Day of appointment: got a call at work, lady said that she has the plumber at my door, but no one is answering. I told her no one was home, and I was supposed to be called one hour prior to his arrival. My husband was leaving work and on his way (45 minute drive). Was told that the plumber couldn't wait, and released him from my home. They told me that they were "completely booked" and they had no one to come back out. Had to reschedule for another day, with me missing out on my job (at a hospital). If they don't call me 1 hour before, I'm asking for the CEO. If I could give a 0, I would."
"Tried to schedule warranty work due to their poor quality workmanship and materials. Phone rep was completely rude and unhelpful. “All our plumbers are home by 4pm” when giving my availability. As if they turn to dust if they don’t get home by then. I was told I should leave work and go home to meet them when they call as my option for service."
"Service performed was supposed to be water heater repair but they showed up and didn’t do anything I asked the person who called for the technician to call me since I’m not home and the person at home can’t sign anything unless I know what has been repaired and what was the problem so they said they can’t tell me and that after someone signs the repair paper they can read the problem that was fixed to me. I told them no one is signing anything unless I know what they are signing and they just wouldn’t let me know anything and finally said that no one needs to sign anything and that was it they left. After I got home I found out through other people what was wrong and repaired and they told me that the filter was very dirty but before we scheduled a repair we checked to make sure that wasn’t the problem ( BTW I’ve been a general contractor for 20 years so I think I can handle checking a filter before having someone come out for no reason if they don’t need to since I can change a filter especially when it’s accessible ) , well I came home 2 hours after they left checked the filter again and it was still the same CLEAN, so they didn’t fix anything or change anything or do anything, later in the evening the same problem started again go figure. They’re looking to charge $200 to come out again haha…. How is a business like this still operating when they don’t have a clue about plumbing /repairs ? Love the high stars they have and their reviews I think that shows what kind of a company this is. They should have their license revoked since they no nothing about plumbing. But that day is coming soon. BBB will be notified as well as the Florida plumbing licensing commission."
"Our builder used NWP for all the plumbing. Instead of using expansion tanks as required by the national code, they used expansion valves. Our was located in the utility room 20 feet from the hot water heater. It was connected so as to drain into our home's sewer drain when it fails. It failed and we could not locate the leak and had to hire a leak specialist to find where it was leaking. The professional plumber we hired discounted the out the valve and install the Expansion Tank on the water heater. He also showed me that the pressure valve had plastic parts and is due to fail. It was the one of the cheapest if not the cheapest pressure valve made. That's a clear sign of real shoddy workmenship and a contractor cutting way too many corners. We've had at least 2 more failures in our subdivision that is 4 years old."
