"Do not waste your time calling Mr.Ed. He's been in business since I was a child. Serviced us well, but he's to old now. I called him several times for timer on my dryer never a call back. So I googled my problem went to Mitchell's app.store in Dville fixed dryer myself. Huge savings. They say most throw out washing machine and dryers. Please Google problem before trashing. You may surprise yourself and save you tons. Also fixed my washing machine. It was hose clogged that's all..."
"Horrible customer service. Friendly but is not able to perform the work anymore."
"Reasonably priced. Fixed the same day. Thank you Ed."
"Stay Away! I called Mr. Ed to fix a stove. On the phone, he mentioned he charges a travel fee of $30 plus $40/hour plus labor to fix and that’s it before the cost of parts. Once he gets here, he starts by trying to plus my stove away from the wall. He violently starts pulling and banging on my stove just to get it away from the wall. At this point, he has the attention of everyone in the home. Once he figured out that he needed to unscrew the stove feet, he finally did so. This took about 25 minutes. Then while working, he stopped and took several calls 4-7 minutes in length. Most of the calls were from angry customers complaining about their service and needing him to come back to finish his repair. Of course, this sent many red flags. After he ran some power tests on my stove, which weren’t even necessary because the power obviously did not work, he proceeds to pull out a manual and read instructions on how to fix the stove . This caused us to accumulate more time. Meanwhile, this guy is still getting phone calls from other customers. After about spending about 30 minutes to run a diagnostic, but spending a total of 1.5 at my house, he proceeds to charge me $185 for his service WITHOUT the repairs. With parts, the repair would cost $475. He didn’t mention a diagnostic cost plus and hourly rate in our initial conversation, so I was shocked! I did not hire him because he seemed to be overpriced. After getting a second opinion, i was able to get my stove fixed with the price of diagnostics, travel fee, parts, and repairs for less than $250. Bottom line, Ed tried to rip me off and he didn’t entirely give me the impression that he knew was he was doing. Don’t waste your time."
"Diagnosed the leak I had with my washing machine and picked up the part and repaired it. Very knowledgable and reasonably priced. Will use him again if necessary."
