"So I spoke with the owner, who is actually a really nice guy. Don't expect to be best friends over the phone; he is very busy and doesn't have much time to talk on the phone. He only works on flat screens and doesn't work on CRTs or VCRs. He will likely close within a year's time because he wants to retire. Definitely a very knowledgeable guy and won't do you wrong if you give him a chance."

"I had read a few negative reviews about this guys attitude and decided to give it a chance anyway..... that was a mistake.. Dropped off TV over a month ago was told would give me a call with estimate. Several weeks passed. No call. I called him and he quoted me but was very rude/curt about it. I agreed to have it fixed. He said it'd be done within the next week and would call once finished. Over 3 weeks later I called for update. Said didn't fix cause needs to make money and will be significantly more. When I asked how much more, thinking I may still be willing to pay, he started yelling at me, told me to come pick it up and hung up on me. I calmly called back... asked him why he was so upset and I still needed to arrange to pick up the TV. He yelled some more, told me to call when I'll be by and hung up again. I was appalled and am in serious disbelief. I would not recommend at all."

"Mr. Melton gives outstanding service! He charges nothing to tell you what is wrong with your TV (unlike other TV repairman). He fixed my TV for a very reasonable charge. Now my TV works like it is brand new! Also, I told him I was looking into buying an additional larger TV as I am creating a movie room, and he gave great advice concerning which TV brands are built better than others (i.e. which TV brands have to be repaired less!). He was a wealth of information. I would recommend Mr. Melton to anyone!"

"We heard Melton's was the best, but the reviews made us question their customer service skills. Even after reading a negative review, we cautiously called Melton's. Mr. Melton came to my Mother's home and checked her television within 48 hours. He was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He took the time to explain the television and what was wrong with it, and did so in a way that someone who was not tech-savvy could understand. He was friendly and efficient. We will not hesitate to recommend Melton's to anyone needing television sales or service in the tri-state area. Great customer service, reasonable prices, honest and experienced. A truly top-notch experience!"

"I contacted Mr. Melton at 9:30 a.m. and arranged to drop off my flat screen T.V. at 10:00 a.m. My LG had been malfunctioning for over a year...it was TIME to get it fixed or discard it. Mr. Melton met me at the back door and carried my set in personally. He took my information and stated he would let me know by the afternoon...to be exact it was 12:10 when he called me! Continuing on, he told me what the charges would be...including tax $137.00, and here's the best part...will be ready in two more hours! When I picked up my set it was fixed and he carried it back out to my truck, taking care not to damage my interior OR my new T.V. I had just purchased...great experience! If you are calling Mr. Melton to be "phone-buddies" you are gonna' get your feelings hurt...he is a little abrupt, just getting to the point. I found him to be very agreeable after conversing with him face-to-face. I've told all my friends about his rates and his service...will definitely use again!!"
