"I have been living at the Cambridge Downs Apartments since October. The few maintenance issues I have had were resolved almost instantly after I put in the work order request. I had major issues with my refrigerator and when it couldn’t be fixed the office was able to replace my refrigerator with a new one. It is a great feeling to know that I am getting the best customer service possible. When you pay for a place to live you expect for things to get handled. It is a very peaceful and safe environment. The staff is amazing, office and maintenance team! They are always compassionate and helpful. Cambridge Downs thank you for providing good customer service !"

"One of worst places I had ever lived. I should have followed the warning signs. When an apartment tells you that they don't have a model to show you until the day you move in, stay away!!! Unfortunately they had my back against the wall because my kids had to be registered for school. Otherwise, I would have chose some where else to live. Looks pretty decent from the outside but once you move in, you will see all of the nightmares. Everyone who has posted here has a valid complaint. I can validate their concerns from nuisance neighbors, cock roach infestations, outdated appliances, faulty wiring (hazards), rude property assistants that argues when you complain instead of being empathetic towards your situation to a tenant who's never late on rent!!! , not to mention the noise, toilets constantly backing up, and Memorial day weekend the pool is closed!!! (really!!!) I have so much to complain about that I don't have the time and patience to write it all. I merely mentioned instances that were common and irritating. Called the Property Mgmt (Hammond) as expected no returned calls. I hate moving but this time I am looking forward to getting out. Please don't get it wrong, i am not disgruntled, I was an exceptional tenant who was never late on the rent who served 2 PRISON sentences in this hell hole!!!"

"If I could give a half star I would. Where do I start? I have been living here for 6 years. I must say that Hammond Residential is the worst management company since I have moved in. Over the years there has been 3 different management companies. Each worse than the previous. The property manager is currently Cindy. She has ZERO customer service skills: yells, snatches things from you when she is upset, points her finger in your face, threatens to not renew your lease because you tell her she is unprofessional. She is aggressive as well and is not fit to be in a management role. When I expressed to that she is unprofessional she started coming toward me in such an aggressive manner that her maintenance guy had to hold her back. She even went as far as throwing my daughter's jacket in her face as we my daughter and I were getting out the building when she told me to leave her office. The list goes on. The office is constantly "under-staffed" and there is only one maintenance person so the property is poorly maintained. If you're looking for an apartment RUN! RUN! RUN! I will be looking for somewhere else when my lease is up."

"There is nothing positive I can say about the management group and the property mangers for Hammond residential and the Cambridge Downs complex. The management switched halfway through my lease and ever since then it's been a downhill plunge. The apartments are old and need to be renovated. The managers don't call back, no communication whatsoever. But they sure are quick to leave eviction notices on neighbors doors. There are cars in the parking lot that haven't moved in over a year. You want a cheap place, you get what you pay for."
