"***** Skip to the bottom for my 6-month update ****** The Whitby is absolutely amazing, with its modern design and spacious layout. The amenities are top-notch, including a huge well-equipped gym, a beautiful swimming pool, and cozy lounge areas. I literally feel like I live on a resort every day and it's incredibly peaceful! One of the standout features of this apartment complex is the exceptional service provided by the staff. The entire office staff is awesome, but Lauren and Marco, the front office staff, are always friendly, approachable, patient, and incredibly helpful. They ALWAYS go above and beyond to ensure that residents have a positive living experience. Whether it's answering questions, addressing concerns, or providing recommendations for local attractions, they are always there to assist. Additionally, the maintenance team deserves a special mention. They are incredibly prompt in responding to any issues that arise. Whether big or small they are quick to resolve the problem. Their efficiency and professionalism are truly commendable. Living in this apartment complex has been an absolute pleasure, thanks to the amazing staff and their dedication to providing exceptional service. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free living experience. ****** 6 - month update ******** RUN AWAY!!!! I strongly advise against moving to this location! All the negative reviews you've come across are absolutely true. There are frequent flooding incidents, constant fire alarms, thin walls, lack of communication, excessive charges, and a high turnover rate in the office. The only exception to this is Margarita, who is knowledgeable and helpful. Recently, they have locked down the front entrance and lobby, causing significant inconvenience and posing safety risks, especially for single females walking to their cars and through the building. Access to the amenities they promised upon moving in is now limited to when the office is open. Additionally, the so-called courtesy officer is not consistently available, as they receive a 40% rent discount and are only present sporadically. It's evident that this place does not value its residents and only sees them as a source of income. Your concerns will only be addressed if you happen to catch Lori when the higher-ups are present in the office. Considering all the money you'll be paying; this place is simply not worth it."

"I have only been here for about 3 months. I would rate this place 3.5 stars. I think the staff is friendly, I like that the apartments are new, and I like the location. The downside is that the apartments are made with cheap material. There is a neighbor above me who clearly lacks consideration of neighbors. He has a subwoofer and daily utilizes it, causing my walls to vibrate. I even walked upstairs to verify the sound was coming from the apartment. He's also heavy footed because there is constant stomping. I have communicated with the Leasing Office to complain about the bass shaking my apartment (I'm willing to tolerate the heavy feet), and I have called the after hours compliance officer as well. The officer is very friendly and has also informed me that due to certain rules the neighbor is not committing a noise violation. While that may be true, this neighbor is truly inconsiderate. I should not have to hear nor feel what any of my neighbors are watching or listening to. That is my only complaint. If you are a person who values peace, quiet, and neighborly respect, I think you should look elsewhere. If noise is not a problem, then this is the place for you."

"This place is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. Lori was helpful and showed me the apartment. She was patient and so kind. I could not make up my mind, she showed me both apartments twice; I wanted to make sure the apartment was right for me. I would give 10 stars if I could."

"Best reasons to move here: The apartments are new, the floorplans are nice, and the location is good. Now, the cons: First, the appliances are super cheap. Dishwasher doesn't dry and the vendor told us himself it's because they're cheap plastic tubs. The washer can't hold a full load without shaking so hard it completely moves. The toilet is literally like sitting on cheap plastic. This stuff will not last. Most importantly, the fees are outrageous. The online quote is a lie! I can't believe they even send that to people and our agent, Lauren, backed it. The common electric fee is not $10 a month. It's more like $50 a month and it'll continue to go up as more people move in and use electricity. The valet trash fee is $25 but what they don't tell you is there's a $15 monthly fee for the trash compactor. Then a pest control fee, then utility admin fee. So many fees that you end up paying way more every month when you could just move somewhere else that seems like it costs more but probably doesn't because they're more transparent. Oh and the "package room" is a joke. If you're familiar with luxury apartments, you'll think you're getting package lockers. They obviously didn't put lockers in the budget for this place. It's literally a room where they drop all your packages on the floor and you have to go through them one by one to find yours and hope no one's taken it. See photo. It's ridiculous. Some buildings (especially mine in the back) have flooding issues on the outside due to poor drainage so there's standing water everywhere when it rains and for days after. The walls are paper thin. We hear our neighbors' conversations and constant stomping. Finally, the staff is nonchalant. Communication is not consistent. They may or may not respond to your emails. They may or may not help with any concerns. It's not terrible here, but it could certainly be better especially for the amount of money you pay."
