"Rough neighborhood and terrible customer service practices. Don't sign a lease with these people. You will end up paying more than what you thought. I had to move because my job transferred me two months before my lease was up. Whisperwood (Elon Property Management) would not work with me at all. Not only did I have to pay two months rent ($1116.00) while not living there but I had to keep the power on and pay two light bills as well. Just when I think I'm free of the place they are telling me that I owe them $150.00 for cleaning an apartment that was left clean. Even the maintenance staff who cleans up when people move out sent me a text saying saying it was clean. These people will try to get every penny out of you that they can! Not to mention people keep kicking holes in the fence. The restaurants 100 feet from the complex we're robbed at gunpoint 3 different times in ten months, my truck and several other vehicles were broken into and at least one apartment had it's windows busted out and was robbed while I lived there. This is an unsafe place to live with terrible property management!"
