"Arthur and his helper were unprofessional never kept his word on when he was coming. Replaced my water heater and it’s been three weeks and the old one is still in my yard. Also performed piss poor mitigation service after hot water heater burst and tore out our basement bathroom And damaged the tub drain and sink faucet valve during vanity removal. Worst of all that all missed a wall with mold that the drywall should have been cut out and promised to fix it 3 weeks later never fixed. They also left all trash and doors sink and old shower doors on my basement till I had to hire another company to remove it after 3 weeks. They shouldn’t bring allowed in your house or to operate as a business. Will never use or refer again."

"As warned on another review, "WATCH OUT LADIES' This company was referred to me, by a coworker who was getting work done. I needed someone to repair an area where water was coming into the house. Short showed me how the water was coming in and was to prevent and repair the wall. OH! he repaired the inside wall alright. Hiding what he did not repair or replace properly. The outside wall was torn out as needed. Siding removed. The old siding was placed back on, which should not have been done. He did not put all of my insullation back into the wall, he placed duck tape on the top window, put caulk on the siding, stating that would repair water from entering, left some of the rotten wood from his repair there in place. I called A. Short. Never came. I have sent message to both phone numbers given, requesting for him to at least pay half for the repair. He never replied. I have had to call another company to repair the problems left by A Short. water still entering, no insulation in the wall, duck tape on window, mismatch siding placed on the house, but still he felt good cashing my checks."

"Think twice ladies! I have contacted Mr Short regarding poor installation of my backsplash that his team did on two occasions. Initially, he returned to fix the problem, but didn’t finish the repair. Then I was in an accident and unable to follow up. I’ve reached out to him since and Mr Short said he would complete the repair in two weeks, but I have not heard back from him! It will cost me an additional $250 to fix my backsplash!"

I called them at short notice they picked up the phone discussed my project and came out the very next day, on time, even called to let me know he was on his way. The work was performed quickly and cleanly and at the agreed price. Arthur is a gentleman. I highly recommend him"
