Reviews of Pines at Peachtree
"This property tends to change hands frequently in terms of the property manager. They also have changed rental payments systems within 6 months of my arrival and had not notified the tenants. This led to difficulties and delays in rent payments of which the responsibility was placed on the tenants. The recent management change happened quickly and the new company retained none of the resident information. The management threatened to charge residents or evict residents who didnt provide the information again (such as insurance coverage) or who didnt provide "updated contact information, even if the information did not change. It is not legal for them to threaten eviction on residents who are payed in full on rent and who have not been notified of any lease termination or lease violation."
"If I could give it zero stars I would. 10/10 would not recommend to move here. Moved August 1, was supposed to get a 2 bedroom unit and we were told it was infested with roaches and we could live in a 1 bedroom until a new 2 bedroom was available. It has been months and we have received no updates even though we have called countless times, emailed countless times. Carol Sanford the leasing lady lied to us, her district manager Antjuana C. Sumbry-Smith was supposed to fix the situation but she has stopped responding and even blocked our calls. We have yet to hear from the regional manager Dwone Burse"
"Lived here for a little over 10 months, never had any issues. Good location close to both Fort Moore and downtown. Never parked more than a few feet from my door. Management is excellent. Landlady was cooperative and kept all tenants informed on events and maintenance. The maintenance fellows even helped me move my furniture into my apartment. I once reported a small plumbing issue regarding the toilet tank, and it was resolved the very next morning. The living conditions are pretty nice. I encountered 1 roach in the 10 months I lived here. Power never cut out, air conditioning always worked. You may hear your upstairs neighbors footsteps, but that's about all the disturbance I encountered. If you want a solidly priced apartment complex, I'd highly recommend Pines at Peachtree."
"Please beware of these apartments they have so many issues: roach infestation, plumbing being backed up, Thin walls, and for some odd reason they have changed management at least 3-4 times within the 2 year( they just got a new manger again ). I believe these apartments need to be torn down and rebuilt all over but until they fall completely apart the company is still going to try to mask the issue and charge higher rates. Pest control doesn’t come on a regular like they should. These apartments are not worth it. Please save your money and time."
"My experience at Overlook Crossing was amazing until the complex was bought out again by another company. This is the third company who has brought the property since July 2020. I would not recommend living here now. The new company Your Way Management team is very money hungry. They charge us for everything now. I went from paying $720 with everything included except lights and cable to paying $765 with nothing included. I don’t know how that even works but the company did it. I asked multiple times for an explanation and was only sent over the face that residents now pay for their own water. How do you split up water for residents who share multiple laundry facilities and water lines? It doesn’t make sense to me or any other residents either. When the properties are in an okay area, the apartments are outdated compared to the living you would see in 2022 and NOT WORTH the new prices they are throwing out! I would not move here if I was homeless due to how the management team handles things! Money hungry people NEVER win in life."
