"I purchased a dress from them after having saw the dress on another site $40 cheaper simply because for me this was the first of my future purchases. I have never been more wrong in my life. First of all I am a business owner myself so I completely understand the importance of the people who continue to afford me the ability to not have to punch a clock for someone else. I also make it a point to support Black owned businesses. WTBS. My order was first cancelled. I reached out to inquire why. I was advised that my shipping address and business address didn’t match and based on their policies they had to be the same. Fair enough right. I was in the process of moving my business from one location to another because I needed a bigger space to work out of. I responded by giving them permission to ship the dress to the billing address listed because currently I still have the keys to that space. Fast forward 4 days later. I check both their website as well as the Shop App and the order is listed as restocked and cancelled. I reach out and check the status to make sure we were still on the same page. I got a seemingly rude yet tacky response that I had advised to ship to the billing address and that was the plan. Almost as if I was annoying them by inquiring about my order since I had yet to receive any correspondence from them. By day 6 still nothing. I requested a refund. I was initially refunded about 95% of my money, but that was unacceptable because I paid extra for shipping so yet another email goes out to them. I didn’t want to get my bank involved so at this point I am waiting to see how long this refund takes before I reach out to my bank. This is my point of this review I have seen so many times in my plight to support black owned businesses where I have been met with this type of unprofessionalism. It’s sad that have I order my 2nd dress from David’s Bridal like I initially started to do this experience would have been totally different. The sheer manner in which this entire thing was handled is simply disappointing because it proves a growing trend of people who desire to support Black but won’t because of things like this. Sad but true. Anyway spend your money elsewhere. At least you will receive your merchandise you paid for without feeling like you’re a bother."

"If I could leave zero stars I would. Kay represents this company poorly. I viewed two residences with her. Upon scheduling a viewing with her she did not ever ask what my availability was nor did she tell me her availability. Both viewings she just scheduled it and I had to send her my availability TWICE because she did not seem to take effort in looking at it before and trying to fit it within my respectable hours. I overlooked it. Perhaps she has a lot on her plate. I am willing to be patient and understand that about others. For the first viewing, I did not appreciate the way Kay responded to my questions. It all ended with "have common sense." I felt that I was being judged for my youth and being a college student. Regardless of the fact, I should have been treated respectfully and fairly as any other adult. On the second viewing, my boyfriend joined me. She seemed to be more professional with him when she realized he was older than I. Despite all of this, we continued to praise her and overlook any judgement because I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps, if I had been in the business a while and seen some people mistreat their rules and regulations a certain way I would be stern with my answers and act differently (but I wouldn't be judgemental). Ending the second visit, Kay told us that she would send us flyers that day for other viewings that were opening up. The next day the latest since it was close to evening and she expressed she lived out of town. I was willing to be patient as long as we were under the same understanding of immediacy. However, we did not receive them until days later. We also expressed that we were VERY INTERESTED in that particular location and it met all of our needs regardless of the other locations she wanted to show us. We put in an application. Besides the automatic confirmation email, we heard nothing from Kay. My boyfriend , Chase, reached out multiple times. He had to initiate every conversation with her. They were all short answers. About a week later (a Wednesday) we noticed that the resident is no longer on the website. Chase, starting the conversation, asked about our application the following Friday. She responds that the office is not open and she would get back to him on Monday. Monday comes and goes. No response. Tuesday arrives. Chase, starting the conversation, asks again about the application and points out that the residence is not on their website. Does this mean it is in favor of our application? Of course not, someone else applied before us and got the residence. We even asked if anyone else was looking at the location and she said no. We understood that anyone could apply for it and had up to 48 hours to pay the deposit. Yet, we were never informed of about this other viewer. I would assume that is good business etiquette so we wouldn't be wasting our time hoping for this one and paying the application fee for a property that was already sold! Instead, she led us on and tested our patience. She could have been honest from the beginning about not wanting our business or immediately notifying us that someone else is looking at this property. We would have either moved on or tried our best to beat them in a fair match. I would not be upset about paying the fee if it was FAIR. It was not. Due to her incompetence and unreliability we are unable to follow through with ANY leads we had because she did not respond in a timely fashion. If she had immediately informed us that someone else got the property then we would have had a chance elsewhere. That shot is long gone and now we are in a difficult predicament of having nowhere to go. I DO NOT RECOMMEND that you look here for residency if Kay is working with this company. She did not put in the effort to keep us informed or to treat us fairly. Any potential tenant deserves at least that."
"We lived here for a year. If I would have wrote this review in the first two months, it would have been positive, but now we are very frustrated with this realty and Kay. First of all, the apartment was not cleaned when we moved in because Kay "forgot" to correct the apartment number when processing the paperwork. I will come back to this later in the review. When we saw that they had garages under the apartments, we asked if we can have access to the one under our apartment, and Kay said no because they're dirty blah blah blah. Come to find out a couple months later, we get an email telling us to move our cars because someone needs to get their vehicle out of the garage. We were questioning why someone else was allowed to use to the garage and not us, Kay's response was that "They are a long-time tenant of ours" as if that was a good excuse to lie to us in the beginning. As time moves forward, there were other minor issues with the realty, but I will skip through that to the move-out. Kay made an issue with everything that was wrong. She would say that wasn't clean right, I'm going to mark that. And I told her it wasn't clean in the beginning and she said well it doesn't say that here. And I told her we had spoken to someone about it and then said we'll clean it ourselves because it was already the day of move-in. And I told her she was the one who messed it up and she was like I don't remember. Marsh took over half of our deposit!!! I would NOT recommend them. Also they charged us for taking our the trash, and Kay didn't even mention to us that they would be charging us for that! Everything that the supposed "maid" had to clean was nothing compared to the dirty apartment they had made us move into. If you don't want to deal with the fake-nice people of Marsh and having them lie to you or being petty, and taking over half of your deposit then I would not rent with them. We also got an email saying that there's no smoking in the apartments, and we sent them a response saying neither one of us smokes, but our neighbor smokes all the time. It was so strong we smelled it through our apartment. But because he's been a long time tenant, they decided to blame us."
"We lived there for a year and decided to leave a negative review due to a few factors. Not only did our house have a serious mold problem that caused me to become sick, the maintenance was typically slow to fixing things. Before we moved in, the window was cracked and they told us they’d replace it, which never happened in the duration of us living there. There were rodents in the attack and they sent a guy who never even went up in the attack to address the issue. But overall, the most frustrating thing was that we were charged during move out for things we did clean, and even taking the trash to the road which we did! We were charged for things we were never even told about, and it ended up costing us $700. We were dissatisfied with the company and would not recommend them to be honest."
