Village Square Apartments

"I went in on Friday to the office at Village Square. Kelli introduced her self as the assistant manager and answered all my questions even showed me the virtual tours. She also gave me her work email and told me I could email her if I had any further questions. She also showed me around the club house, and where the pool was. She even suggested I ride around the properties to view them from the outside. Village Square and Hillside Square are both beautiful. Kelli helped me a lot and I’m so thankful with how knowledgeable she was with answering all my questions, and she was very inviting."

"when trying to reach out to Staff -calling is not a good idea because it is hard to reach -but email the management team and Staff, you will get feedback within the time frame. I was once upset about my overall experience here at Village Square, but Management Managers are exceptional Housing is nice, for the price with big rooms and living room one thing that caught my attention when getting contract, was the playground. only if, it was in little better environment. I would've given different star rate but because of the Manager's exceptional you won't regret, at the end"

"I lived here 7 years and was ok until new management took over. Kira is the most disrespectful manager I ever came in contact with. The complex used to be named Paces landing. I had to leave because conditions of the apartment was uninhabitable. I had to constantly put in work orders. 2 orders were very important because it was causing everyone to be sick, a bad mold problem cause my apartment would flood every hard storm. The other important order was the water issue, I couldn't do anything with the water cause it was slightly brown so eating out or cleaning was challenging. I tried to be patient but after a year, I called code enforcement, that's when the retaliation started. My mail just stopped coming and was told by Kira to take it up with USPS. I asked for my remaining balance and see I was Charged for time I wasn't there, since my complaint, Kira has made me feel like I've done something wrong or I shouldn't be upset because of the lack of care/repairs on her end. When I was a tenant, she would hang up on me and when I called back, her reply was- I thought you were finished. Now that I'm no longer a tenant she definitely doesn't have a problem of continuing to hang up. She is the most unprofessional manager that this complex has seen and they've had many come and go. I will attach photos momentarily but if you choose to live here, don't sign for unit 1102 at Village, the flooding is a foundation issue per old manager and insurance. I tried contacting her manager but was only given an email to someone who never responds. This is my truth and anyone else who would've went through this would've cussed Kira out but her unprofessional behavior WILL be her downfall. Keep an eye on your kids cause there's drug dealers all throughout both complexes. Any questions please ask and I'll tell you what's the real environment, not this fake persona on this site Kira portrays and don't forget to look up Paces Landing- the original name. Good day and from what I learned going through this is you don't have to pay rent in these conditions but go to court when it happens and they can't kick u out"

"Thus far I've had a really great experience as a resident here. The office staff has always been helpful, the maintenance staff responsive and reliable. The apartments themselves are nice, I'm very pleased with the size and features of my apartment. The community overall is fairly quiet and neighbors are pleasant. I have had a great experience since my move in. The staff has given me full support and accurate information. It exceeded my expectations and has been a great place to live. I have to thank the property manager “Kai” for her kindness and professionalism."
