Reviews of KRC Alderwood Trails
"If you want drugs KRC Alderwood trails management doesn't work with police to reduce drug sales. If you want smelly trash literally bursting out the dumpster all the time Alder wood management gives you that. If you like your car being towed and paying $300$ to get it back so that it is towed again when you forget to put the permit tag KRC will continue to have it towed. In fact Alder wood allows construction LLC companies to park on residents parking lots for a fee of $30 because it is just good business for KRC Alderwood leaving residents without parking a lot and having their car towed for parking on a curbside. If you like to pay 2000 and above rent , on time, and have maintenance playing with trash collectables for profit instead of fixing your stove, KRC management doesn't care if the maintenance Boss has no interest in doing his job. KRC management likes to make residents wait up to a month to fix your stove because they have a long waiting list that just grows because they just rather not fix anything, especially if it costs them money, even though you pay for utilities that are included with your rent. If you like midnight noise disturbance KRC management will tell you to call the cops, the cops will tell you to speak with your office manager, and the office manager will tell you that there is nothing they can do about it because their policy doesn't address it. You pay $2000 for rent but you can't have a good night's sleep. well unless you beg them for months and if you make a complaint, KRC will just switch management and will take you on the same roller coaster again. What a nerve right."
"KRC Alderwood Trails can be a very difficult environment to deal with alot of times.. If you choose to live/stay here, No matter what building your in. There is constant noise every day and contuines throughout the late nights. There is usually children and babies screaming outside, Lots of cars back and forth. Also the cleanliness of all of the buildings, Now if you are a regularly clean person, unfortunately it will not keep roaches away due to the neighbors and most people here, Do not clean well. Each time theres inspections trash piles up severely at the dumpster a day before inspections. Also please be aware of the volleyball sand box in the back , Stray animals, cats, dogs, and even people!! have defected and urinated in the sand regularly. Id suggest not stepping in without shoes or dont step in at all. Im not saying the whole place is bad, There are nice people around sometimes and staff. But be aware please watch Im just pointing out things to be aware of for new-comers, !!!Its not the place or staffs!! Its just the people living here :(("
"I moved from Japan to USA last month, I am living now in KRC. Unfortunately, the behavior of their stuff is very bad. They don't know how should talk to a tenant. The mail boxes of the our apartments have been broken from about one month before, haven't yet fixed the mail boxes. I called them but their reply were not good, it seems to me that it is our responsibility. They shouldn't know the meaning of "responsibility". They should learn the politeness, at least, they should say sorry for the broken Mail boxes."
"I moved into my apartment here in August when I relocated to Atlanta to pursue PhD studies. Because I was moving from another country, I was unable to visually inspect the apartments in which I was interested. At the time, this complex seemed ideal in that it was in an interesting, diverse neighborhood and close to the MARTA station. Now, five months after moving in, I can honestly say that KRC Alderwood Trails is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced anywhere in the world. I can verify that the complex does have a great deal of diversity. Within a few hours of moving in, I encountered American, German and Oriental cockroaches in and around my unit, all interacting in perfect harmony. Wildlife is also abundant and encouraged to closely interact with people through the leaving of food items and garbage around the buildings and hallways, which do not have doors. What better way to greet a new day than leaving your apartment and finding animals bursting through trash bags and scurrying through your living space? If you choose to move to KRC Alderwood Trails, you will become intimately familiar with the entire Doraville community, including people you wouldn’t otherwise interact with in other places. For instance, since moving here, I have had the opportunity to interact with several local police officers owing to the numerous thefts that have occurred. The residents have proven to be interesting; their creativity and ingenuity knows no bounds. Perhaps most impressive is the rotating engineering project / art installation that involves the locals piling bags of garbage as high as possible in the trash compactor until it is no longer feasible, at which point they begin stacking trash and furniture items around the disposal area. These projects have also served to increase the biodiversity of the complex, as I have noticed a marked increase in the rat population in the area. Once a year, on New Year’s Eve, the overfilled compactor will be set ablaze to cap off the evening’s festivities. This event is so exciting, it is easily worth the $25 fine levied against all residents, whether they were present or not, for damages. Another creative project the locals have been involved in is the invention of a new sport. It is similar to soccer and played on the complex’s soccer field, though players are required to navigate numerous golf-like water hazards caused by stagnant rainwater collection within the massive potholes in the concrete. I can hardly wait to see this exciting new game make its debut at the Olympics. Everyone here has been very helpful to me as a community member. As my New Year’s resolution was to get more exercise and lose weight, the apartment staff has assisted by not properly logging my service requests or providing adequate follow-up communication so that I have to walk up the hill to the office again and again. Another supportive individual has further aided my resolution by stealing my car; now I am unable to get lazy and drive anywhere and, instead, find myself forced to walk. Thanks guys! Finally, for those of you with children considering KRC Alderwood Trails, rest assured that safety seems to be of paramount importance here. For example, because it could become a drowning hazard, the staff has taken the step of simply closing the pool and not allowing any residents access to it. Further, because the majority of electrical outlets here are not installed properly, causing plugs to come loose or fall out entirely, the maintenance staff has been instructed to cover many of the outlets with a thick layer of paint so that they are inaccessible. Like I said, I have honestly never seen anything like KRC Alderwood Trails. In fact, I didn’t even know such places existed anywhere in the developed world due to things like basic laws and housing codes. I highly recommend coming by and taking a tour of the complex; I’m sure you will be left just as astonished as I was when I got here. Don’t forget your tetanus booster though!"
