"I honestly don’t know how anyone can live here. I’ve been here for a year now and the main issue is that the alarms always go off. Just this past week they’ve gone off 3-4 times. Whats wild to me is that they don’t get fined for wasting the fire departments time. (We know because us residents have asked the fire department) Also, now most of the residents don’t trust the fire alarms because it never is an emergency. The gate arm gets broken pretty consistent. Cars have gotten broken in to. The elevators go down easily. Trash chute gets broken. And if you go through each review of this place you’ll see the response is very robotic. I don’t plan on renewing my lease and if you are thinking of moving here I would reconsider it. Seriously, don’t move in here. You’re going to regret it fairly quickly. Of course the leasing agents are nice. Why wouldn’t they be? It’s their job to get you to move in."
"My extremely detailed and date of incident tracking review with dozens and dozens of complaints has been deleted consistently by the apartment. DO NOT MOVE HERE! Reply to apartment: Consistently the reviews that I screenshot and save are removed after a single day or two. The idea that reviews cannot be removed is hilarious. I would suspect that the reason the apartment is so keen on linking Google review names to names on the lease, is so they can flag any review without a resident/lease as a fake review. Two major reasons people might be posting reviews without their legal name. 1) Google accounts historically do not require legal names, so it's perfectly acceptable for a Google Account to not be ID'd by their legal name 2) Multiple Better Business Bureau reviews list retaliation for reviews, so it's perfectly understandable that people posting their first hand TRUE experiences through a negative review would fear retaliation from the apartment. Their statements around my issues being resolved is a ploy, they were not. I'll restart my day by day complaints: 02/09/24 - Another 30 minutes of fire alarms 02/13/24 - fire alarms tonight and Sunday again"
"I've been here since they opened, it was great up until Bexley took over. First things first the parking situation here is absolutely ridiculous, they hired a parking company that preys on people for their own gains. Many people have been booted here for the simplest things, my car was booted & towed because my sticker wasn't "displayed properly" yet we pay every month for parking and we live here. When you bring it to bexleys attention they brush you off and claim they have nothing to do with parking as if this is not THEIR property. You have to have the proper stickers to even enter the garage. In this event trying to get my car back, Bexley has withheld the camera footage we are asking for. Claiming there's a time span, which we were still well within when asked. Which also implies they may be in cahoots with the parking company. They implemented a valet trash service (that no-one asked for) and then added $20 to our leases every month, but don't forget your bin out because now it is a $25 fee! The chutes never work so we're forced to abide by this. The construction of this building is poor, we hear everything from our neighbors, the ones under us, next to us, and over us. The walls are so thin. We also have not had adequate amount of hot water since we transferred apartments. which was in October 2023, we have put in 5 requests to get it fixed but the maintenance people claim there is nothing they can do. The water also has a rancid smell. Which I'm sure can NOT be healthy. After requesting these simple fixes they have showed us how they only care about money and not the livelihood of their tenants with threatening eviction!!! When all we asked for was hot water and camera footage. Stay far away from this place, the micro charges, the rude staff, the horrible upkeep of the community. Nothing at this place is worth the lack of peace you will experience. My girlfriend left reviews and they deleted them, so be aware this is not all the 1 star reviews that were left. There were WAY more, that crap about not being able to delete reviews is absurd when we have screenshots of all the reviews that were deleted. We can not wait be out of this lease, being extorted by your landlord is insane. You have been warned!!"
"Between the alarms going off for 2+ hours and me constantly hearing my upstairs neighbor walking all day I HATE it here. The fire truck came and went and the alarm was still going off. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Management says that with apartment living there can be SOME noise transfer between the floors, but I SHOULD NOT be able to hear my neighbor just walk. I can also hear my neighbors conversations and alarms going off when they wake up in the morning. The building is cheaply made for it to be brand new. I'm counting down the days my lease is up. My next door neighbor moved out because someone attempted to break into their apartment from the outside. There was no communication from the leasing office about this and if I didn't bump into them in the hallway I would have never known about it. Safety is a concern here and the internet that they make you pay through rent is poor quality if you WFH. It looks like my review along w/ everyone else who submitted reviews were deleted."
"I would not recommend this place to ANYONE. My boyfriend and I would move out now if we could. We loved this apartment when we first got it about 6 months ago until problems and issues started appearing and not going away or being fixed properly. I’m fed up at this point. Let’s start out by listing all the problems since there are too many to type out: -Trash chute broken and trash bill bumped up 20$ for a problem that wasn’t ours to begin with?? -fire alarm going off continuously for the last couple months waking us up at 3AM! -elevator down LITERALLY every other day! -doors being left open and rooftop doors being left open to where no residents are feeling safe here at all, anyone can walk in. - parking garage gates ran through or not working every other week -gym just got flooded along with the pet salon -we can also hear FULL CLEAR conversations happening upstairs and we hear footsteps very clearly as well which wakes me up at 5am every morning. Guessing whoever is above me wakes up at that time and I hear them too clearly, walls and ceilings are THIN. -OH AND NOT TO MENTION THE WALLS IN MY APARTMENT ARE CRACKING! Due to differential settling because whoever built this apartment RUSHED through it. So we really don’t feel safe here. -batteries and lock on front door go out or stop working after about a month so we can’t get in or out of our own apartment without having to contact leasing to come fix it. We’ve done this about 3-4 times now. - got booted in our OWN apartment building, leasing said we wouldn’t have to pay for it and we ended up having to because booting company doesn’t work with the leasing, which makes no sense because it’s THEIR property, if they say we are good then we should be good! -my balcony is definitely not done right. The concrete is uneven which Inturn leads to differential settling. So who’s coming to rebuild this place from scratch ??? We’re counting down the months until we can get the heck out of this place. It sucks. And I hope people can do something about it. ESPECIALLY for our cracked walls. And can LEASING stop taking down reviews and start communicating with your residents when there are dangers in our building. Like cracked walls in not just our apartment but others as well, which I didn’t know until I brought it up to whoever fixed our lock last week and he acted like it was fine and told me to put a work order in as other people are doing. Why weren’t we informed about this important issue ??and why weren’t we informed about an issue including a break in??! Obviously this complex cares solely on money and not the care and well being of their residents. I’m sick and tired of it. Fix the issues!"
