Reviews of Bloom at Jonesboro Apartments
"Do not move here if you like cleanliness, professionalism, and peace."
"- Tub was resurfaced 3 times: once before I moved in (Nov. 2021) and twice since living there (Jan. 2022 and May 2022). Due to the poor paint job, the paint would lift and water would get trapped underneath and I found myself constantly cleaning the tub to prevent mold buildup. I have a toddler aged son and it became a health and safety issue because paint would chip and peel in the tub as I bathed him and on the sink while brushing his teeth. If his body pressed up against the tub or sink he would end up with a layer of paint on his skin. - I had roaches everywhere. So make sure you invest in your own pest control services, it’s worth it. - Children AND adults urinating in between dumpsters and even in bushes in front of people’s door - Neighbors blast music all times of the night on any given day. YOUR unit will reek of marijuana even though YOU don’t smoke. - Maintenance disconnected my A/C in the breaker box in order to power my dryer in Nov. 2021. Guess they figured it’s cold, I wouldn’t need air anytime soon. Instead of doing something then to actually FIX the problem, they just put a bandaid on a gunshot wound and hoped I wouldn’t notice. - Wasn’t getting anywhere far with the leasing office regarding my tub so I wrote a letter directly to the property manager and sent it certified. I received a phone call from Arman Soltani and he apologized and expressed his concern about the issue and offered to have it fixed. However, when I inquired about him returning the certified mail receipt indicating that he received my letter he claimed that nothing was presented to him to sign. I then asked him if he could sign a physical copy for my records to keep and he never responded."
"Just moved. Lived there for three years. Very quiet in the area I lived. Beatrice was always helpful and efficient. Maintenance were very efficient. Can't complain."

"BAIT AND SWITCH!! Firstly, the office staff is very polite and warm welcoming. Liz keeps you up to date on the entire process which makes the already stressful search and move process a breeze. Although the staff is friendly, they are not up front and always seem to find a laundry list of excuses for why things don’t add up. When I applied I was given a “special rate” (THE BAIT) of $919+$65 for applying before a certain date. Once I was approved for the apartment, the agreement stated that my rent would be $934 +$65(water). I inquired about the raised price and was told it’s because my apartment would have new carpet. Coincidentally, $999 is the original rent price for my unit. I let this go because I was excited and it was still under my budget. Secondly, here comes the switch....the model apartment matches the pictures online but that is it. All the available units on the website say “RENOVATED” and they use the same pictures for each unit. When I went to view the apartment before getting my power started (I strongly suggest this step when renting anywhere), I was so caught off guard. The apartment was not renovated, it was PAINTED....literally everything was painted. The paint was thick and bumpy. The cabinets in the kitchen wouldn’t close. The drawer fell down when I opened it. And the light switch in the living room wouldn’t even move due to the paint. The sink in the upstairs bathroom looks like it was made for a toddler. The appliances were old. There was no sign of renovation anywhere in this unit. When I brought these issues up to the front office I was told that it would be fixed over the weekend. I received a call on Tuesday afternoon stating that the apartment wouldn’t be ready for a while and they wanted to know if I was still interested in the unit. I was no longer interested in this place because I felt as though it would always be something misleading taking place. When I requested my deposit be returned, I was told that it was not a security deposit, it was a “choice bond”. Even if I would have moved into this place I would not have gotten the deposit back upon moving out. This was not explained to me when I was making the payment. That’s fine. I encourage anyone reading this to ask questions and make sure you have a clear answer before proceeding towards disappointment. I’m not trying to down the place, but the units they rent are not worth the price and everything is not as black and white as it is made to seem."
