"Putting it as 1 as there is no option to give Zero. I went to this place after getting an appointment. The appointment was at 10:00 AM and I reached around 9:45. Hope it is hard to reach the office exactly at 10:00 with clinical precision. The Receptionist at the front desk ask me to get out of the lounge and not even allowed me to wait in the couch. I understand they opens at 10 and I was ready to wait for 15 minutes. Sending a bonafide customer out of the leasing center and locking the door is ridicules. I think the management have to give the front end employees a session so that they can gain a better customer satisfaction"
"I recently had an unfortunate experience with "Avana North Point" that I feel compelled to share. As a tenant who had been residing in their property, I had always tried to maintain a positive and professional relationship with them. However, when I needed to terminate my lease due to a change in my work circumstances, their behavior took a significant turn for the worse. After submitting my termination notice as per the agreed-upon terms, I was shocked to find that they had deducted two months' worth of rent from my account. This kind of conduct is not only unprofessional but also raises serious ethical concerns. As a tenant who had followed the established protocols for lease termination, I expected a smooth transition. Instead, I was met with a situation that has left me feeling taken advantage of and deeply disappointed. Professionalism, transparency, and fair treatment should be the cornerstones of any leasing community's operations. My experience with "Avana North Point" has shown me that these principles may not be upheld to the extent one would expect. I hope that by sharing this experience, others can make informed decisions when considering [Leasing Community Name] as their leasing option. It is essential that consumers are aware of the kind of treatment they might encounter during their time as tenants. In conclusion, I cannot endorse or recommend "Avana North Point" based on my personal experience, and I encourage others to consider alternative options that prioritize professional and ethical conduct."
"I lived here for a 15 month lease with 2 other roommates. During the lease, our washer broke and we had to put in 5 maintenance requests to get it fixed. None of us could wash our clothes due to this issue. There were also a lot of bugs and even rats even though we were constantly cleaning. Once my roommates and I moved out, we got an extremely high bill. I tried to get in touch with the manager, but she wouldn’t even respond to my emails to give us an explanation on the fees. Isn’t that her job? They also sent us to tax collections immediately after sending out the bill, even though we were trying to just get an explanation for the fees. I finally got in touch with someone else after a month. Part of the bill was a $500 “cleaning fee”. We had cleaned the place spotless and did everything on the move out list. The explanation for that was “there was a layer of dirt on the walls”. They also charged us for things that were already broken upon move in, including blinds that had been taped together and an already broken toilet seat. I don’t recommend living here unless you’re ready to dish out 3 grand upon move out. They will take advantage and not give you a voice to even ask questions."
"I have lived here for almost 10 years. I moved in when it was first Alara. When Greystar took over and became Avana North Point, about 7 years ago, the management was rude and unhelpful. Over time, the management has gotten better. I have been fortunate to not have many problems with my apartment. I am on the bottom floor and I did have leaks from the apartment above several times but it’s been at least 4 years with no leaks. If you decide to live here, I would definitely recommend living on the top floor. Maybe I have been unlucky with the people above me but the past 4 residents/families living above me have been extremely loud all through the night, even after many complaints. The biggest issue is the rent increase. Yes, inflation has come upon us but when your rent goes up 26% in one year, it is beyond outrageous. Greystar should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of their residents to such an extreme, with no improvements or upgrades to current occupied apartments. The best decision Greystar has made for Avana North Point is having Nicole as the manager. She treats residents fairly and with respect, in a timely manner. In a world where customer service is almost completely gone, especially with renting your home, Nicole has given me hope there are still decent, moral people in positions of management. My personal experience with the condition of the property is great. The property is kept clean. I rarely have any nasty type bugs, like roaches. My air conditioner has always worked great, which is a must living in Georgia. If I could continue to afford to live here, I would. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. Besides having noisy neighbors above me, and struggling each month to pay my rent here, I am sad to be moving."
"Very poor maintenance services. We have a liking in our master bedroom for the last two weeks, we also had no dishwasher for 2 months until after many trips to the office they came to replace it. Our washing machine is broken since we moved (1 year ago). Doesn’t matter if you request a maintenance services by email, make a call or go in person to the office, they come to do the services very late. It is really exhausting to live here."
