"This has been the most excruciating experience of my life. No direct contact with a dedicated person to help a family of four paid in full and now 2 weeks without a refrigerator. Depending on who you get in the "maintenance department " they all have a different answer and none are resolutions. Highly do NOT recommend."

"The other review made by Amy is correct. My house was to be “professionally cleaned” a day before move-in. I offered to hire my own cleaning person because I didn’t have time to move, prepare for the holidays and clean, but Kairos assured me they would take care of it. Low and behold upon arrival for move-in, the house was filthy and had not been cleaned. Leaves and bugs in the floor, a tooth in my daughter’s carpet, all switch plates and doors black with fingerprints, food pieces on appliances, poop marks in toilets, grime so thick on cabinets, I could draw pictures with a finger. The dust on the floor turned everything set on it black, from boxes to kids’ feet to hands. No box could be put on the floor making moving quite difficult and stressful. Disgusting. Reached out to Kairos, at first I was told everyone has different standards of “clean”, and while I agree, this has nothing to do with my situation because it simply wasn’t cleaned at all. After an exchange, they agreed to send the company back out. To avoid making this review extremely long, let’s just say it’s obvious they hire the cheapest vendors available. The “cleaner” who came looked at the house after I had personally deep cleaned half of it, told me she needed to make a call outside then never returned. When I called the “boss”, aka her husband/boyfriend I believe, he sounded as if he had been drinking and told me to call Kairos next week to find out if they would be back. The “cleaning company” refers to themselves as Taylor’s Construction. After some research, it appears the man had a lawn care company he merged into a handyman business which explains why they have no clue what a professional clean means. They also painted the house before I moved in, and the glaringly obvious touch up areas and paint splatter on every floor, door, hardware, wall, baseboard, switch plates, windows proves they also don’t know how to professionally paint. Regardless, I was open to give them a chance, but the level of unprofessional behavior I’ve experienced with this so called business, that I doubt is even registered and insured, makes me uncomfortable having them in my home. It’s obvious they don’t know what they are doing and would most likely undo any progress I’ve made. Kairos hired them and is responsible for their vendors poor behavior and shoddy work. Melita and the others in the initial customer service were helpful before I was an actual Kairos customer. Brock with leasing was helpful. Erin with leasing has attempted to be helpful, but initially, seemed to allow whomever is in “Kairos maintenance” to persuade her that a filthy home was acceptable. Ultimately, she did send this same joke of a company out that looked and the house and disappeared. I’m hopeful that Kairos will accept responsibility for their awful choice in the cheapest bidder out there and to see if their loyalty lies with the vendor or their customer. I’ve attached only a handful of the photos taken upon move-in that was supposedly already “clean”. This has soured my move-in experience and slowed the process down tremendously as I had scheduled help to move in that couldn’t move me in when scheduled because of the filth. After that, they were unavailable due to holidays. This has truly been a nightmare over something should have been so simple. Several major items are also in need of repair. We shall see how that goes after the New Year. After the experience with the “cleaner”, it hasn’t instilled much confidence. Rent at your own risk and know what you’re getting into. Quality isn’t important to this company. Getting your money and cheap vendors is the primary focus after you’re locked in."

"I went to self view one of the homes listed. The pictures on the website made it appear bright and airy. I was slightly let down after seeing that the property had only cosmetic changes done. Nothing deep or major. Opened one of the storage area doors and a few roaches scattered. Then there was this smell that I couldn’t quite place towards the back of the first floor. There was a strong stench in the kitchen and a strong ammonia odor in the lower bedroom. I felt extremely lightheaded after standing in the bedroom trying to figure out the smell only to go check out the back yard and came across the source of the odor. There is a busted sewer pipe at the back of the unit that is spilling out against the backside of the unit and under the wall. That is a huge health hazard and a huge NO on the unit. The fact that the unit is listed as ready with this major unresolved issue makes me not trust the company with any future issues that might arise Plus the neighbors had mattresses in both the front and back yards… Coming to the review section I see that we thankfully dodged a huge bullet."
