Same Day Call

"On November 7, 2022, I was contacted by Same Day Call, LLC and provided quotes. On November 16, 2022, I paid a deposit of $522.50 to have two shower doors installed, two sink faucets repaired, a cabinet hole repaired, and a door crack repaired. The company initially informed me that the services would take 1 and a half days to complete; however, the project was started on December 6, 2023, but wasn't completed until January 18, 2023. I was also informed that two technicians would work on the services; however, there was only one technician. The start time each day to complete the project was also delayed throughout this timeframe. The company also had to send a replacement technician to correct the shower door installation in my kids' bathroom in which the door wouldn't close. One of the sink faucets could not get repaired and that fee was removed; however, the 2nd sink faucet that was repaired broke and I had to pay another company $130 on July 14, 2023 to fix both sinks per my initial service request. After the services were completed on January 18, 2023, I paid the final balance of $412.50 on January 22, 2023. However, a few months later, I started noticing that the caulk around both shower doors that were previously installed was starting to turn brown from the water and look like mold was forming. In addition, the master shower door stopped closing completely shut. On July 12, 2023, I contacted the company and provided photos and requested for them to send a technician to remove the caulk and add waterproof caulk instead and also fix the master shower door. After multiple text messages and leaving a voice message, I was provided a date of August 23, 2023 for the repairs, but the company canceled the service appointment the following morning and informed me that the services would be rescheduled for the following week. After I did not receive a new date, on August 28th, September 1st, 5th, 11th, & 12th, I followed up with the company, but they have stopped returning my calls and texts messages to complete the repairs they caused. I have since filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I have opened a case with Home Depot's Pro Referral since this company was referred through them. I wanted to share the negative experience that I have had with Same Day Call, LLC so other customers are aware before they proceed with hiring them."

"If you are going to call yourself "same day" you may want to actually come to a job the same day. How unfortunate as I was referred quite highly to the company. I'll make sure to notify the referrer of their error."

"I am the contractor who has completed the job and the first check they gave me was returned and the second check was NSF and it was returned as well, now after two weeks I’m still waiting to get paid. This company doesn’t know anything but LIES to the home owners and contractors as well. I feel sorry for the people who does business with this company."

"We had a horrible experience with this company. We needed a dishwasher installed we bought from Home Depot. Home Depot could not install it due to liability reasons, so we asked Home Depot for a referral. They referred Same Day Call. BIG mistake. We initially spoke with a representative who ensured us they could get the job done when we needed it. We scheduled an appointment. On the day of that appointment, the representative called and asked to reschedule. Okay. We were able to reschedule for the next day, which they suggested at 9am. Great. 9am rolled by, 11 am rolled by, and there is no communication from any Same Day Call representative until I called after finishing working at 6pm that day. By this point, I no longer feel confident in their abilities due to their poor communication. I speak with an Operations Manager who is very apologetic and ensures someone is on their way to my home and should arrive by 6:15-6:30pm. My family and I are ready to eat dinner during this time, but we have someone ready to install our dishwasher in the middle of the kitchen where we are preparing our dinner. The handyman who arrived was very polite, but, again, I arrived at an issue, with his work. He was able to detach the old dishwasher and move it into our garage. Thank you. As he is proceeding to install the new equipment, he realizes why Home Depot would not take on the task, and this was due to the piping underneath my sink needing new equipment. But he was ready to install my new dishwasher on old hoses that have been there since 2004. If I was not in the room to observe his work, I may have run into a different issue some time down the road due to an inadequate installation. I asked him about this and he told me it would not be a problem. Luckily, my husband arrived home and we agreed that this job would be inadequate if there was no new equipment installed to a new dishwasher. So, the handyman stated he could return the next day to finish the work because it was getting late and he was ready to get home. The next day, I spoke with the Operations Manager and I requested a refund, to which she agreed. No one communicated with me the day that I was rescheduled that the handyman would be running late or give an estimated time frame. It was documented through text messaging that they promised me a refund, but never provided it, which caused me to contact my bank and dispute the charge. Thankfully, because the promise was documented my bank was able to return the funds to me. 10/10 do NOT recommend."

"The workers were very competent. They worked hard all day long replacing my soffit and fascia and even did a little extra trim work on my chimney that they noticed was bad. I will definitely use them again."
