"DO NOT MOVE HERE!! Would leave less than one star if I could. This place looks great when you first get here but man does it go downhill quick because of the management here. Within the first 2 weeks, our apartment was flooded due to a bad hot water heater exploding and ruining 3 units from water damage. BUT IT RUINED OUR NEW BED SET along with started molding in the sheet rock and carpet. The doors absorbed a lot of the water and won’t shut because they are about an inch bigger all the way around since they took almost 4 days to come and check out the water, and then they came and sucked up about 30% of it and then we had to figure out how to get the rest up on our own. We called management multiple times when water was pouring in from upstairs and they acted like it wasn’t a big deal, finally we stopped a maintenance guy and told him the deal, and he came over and fixed it pretty quickly, no thanks to the management. Fast forward a few months later and we are getting chased down by the apartment manager in her personal vehicle, because the gate was broken one day and we had to use the left gate. Me and my 10 yr old son pulled into our apartment because he has cystic fibrosis and was having breathing issues at the moment, so we were in a hurry. I ran inside to get the inhaler for him to be able to breath and look outside and the manager is speeding down to our apartment with her phone filming as she is driving her white Nissan rogue towards the car wjtb my son in it. She then jumps out and circles my son and the car up with her camera out, as to intimidate us. My son starts crying because she is yelling obscene words at the car because she’s mad that we used the wrong gate. I honestly am thinking about filing a lawsuit with this circus act they call management here. DO NOT MOVE HERE, there is a reason it is the price it is!!!!! Please reach out to me if you have any other question or want to hear more horror stories of this place. Also we had some break ins that kept occurring, so we asked that the locks be changed after seeing the manager enter our property without permission or a notice multiple times and then our belongings or cash, would come up missing. After filing a police report and calling the office over 23 times, we got our locks changed a month later. You will see a picture of the manager actually in traffic blocking cars and yelling obscenities as cars pass by. UPDATE: We are now being intimidated and threatened by the office management, that if we don’t take this review down, there will be issues. Please just don’t move here."
"I moved in 3 months ago and couldn't be more pleased with my apartment. My neighbors are friendly. Lots of dogs and kids in the complex. I hate quiet complexes. This one is fun of the sounds of laughter and life. Had a few issues that were resolved quickly. I love love love EMERY apartments."
"Need to tell them that you will move out exactly 60 days because they will enforce the contract and have you stay until then. Been good residents of their apartment. Serious problem is for emergencies the opening gate is not quick. No button for law enforcement or emergency services to skip in. A apartment caught on fire and the fighter fighters could not get in until a resident let them in......"
"If you want someone to leave a honest review, read this. When my wife and I moved in everything was fine, super nice, super friendly. When we did the move In inspection there was a paint stick under the toilet and when we asked for them to fix the wobbly toilet, all they did was cut the paint stick in half and put it back underneath. When I called again and showed frustration with the situation they finally came out to fix it. The next problem we had was our sink was not draining. So they took out our tub drain. Yes you read that correctly. They put us out of a shower for a week with a hole in tub and left it very dirty. The most embarrassing part was the trash (picture attached) trash is thrown all over the place where they just dump it in front. They run the garbage like every other week and it’s horrible. The management there is very rude and unprofessional. Staffing under management were always nice. If you’re looking for something cheap.. this is NOT the place. If you are out of options then this is the place. I would look at other options and do not let this be your first and only choice."
"One star is a far better rating than these apartments deserve. Regardless of how often you're home, how clean you maintain your dwelling, how minimal of belongings you keep there, you will always be greeted by guests. The little creatures are constantly running around the 1000 building. Job requires travel so I was rarely ever home. Garbage is always overflowing onto the ground all around the ONE property dumpster. Yes, when you apply and are taken to view property, from my experience as well, you won't view the one you're moving into due to "remodel". Let's talk about the remodel, this is barely a surface remodel. Mostly ONLY aesthetically pleasing. Old air conditioner and unit that is constantly broken in both winter and summer months. Light switch upon entry is on wall across from door. Highly enjoyable anytime it's dark upon arrival. If your job is like mine, you're never home so no since in burning electricity while uninhabited. When lights are switched on though, roach parade time AND I'm NOT talking about the kind you smoke. Often times is the effervescent aroma of aforementioned. Back deck was promised to have deck finished during my retched year long entrapment due to contractual obligations. Siding was another promise made but was never replaced. As far as the pet area, it is a most highly enjoyable walk during rain storms to get your pet across property to nearest one. Nothing better than standing a long ways from your apt, in the rain, at the nearest dog park. Good luck on there being plenty of bags to use to pick up after pet. A little too hit and miss. Swimming pool is enjoyable. Restroom accessibility at swimming area is in view but after office admin clocks out, good luck if ya gotta go. Better get to moving because your apt is no where near as close as the now completely inaccessible restrooms in gated area in pool area. This Emery Apt property is securely inaccessible to anyone trying to cross the street from Silverdale correctional facility and/or public via roadside entry. The other three sides of property though, fully accessible from every angle but Standifer Gap Rd. The view upon arrival and exit is known upon first interest but only becomes more glamorous each time seen. This gorgeous landscape and barbed wire community located just outside of main gate never repels attention as one blissfully drives off and away every time. These apartments, at my time of residence were obtained at the low cost of $1,087/mth with a one year contract agreement. With amenities such as all of those mentioned above, I, personally couldn't imagine why these wouldn't be the most sought after apartments in the Chattanooga, TN area, just off i-75. I see elsewhere in reviews that I can contact you in main office. I am sincerely thankful my residence is over and am not, at this time, in desperate need of the gorgeous view from your main office."
