The Winn at 950

"We came here almost a year ago. We read all of the bad reviews and were leery. But after looking at other apartments in Rossville in Fort Oglethorpe, we found this to be the best deal. I know people are complaining about the price, saying that it doubled. But what they were not taken into consideration is that all apartments had raised their prices in this community as well as across the country. Apartments our needs were very specific. Being three senior citizens and unable to climb any stairs. We also had two little dogs so we needed a place that would allow us to have them. We also needed parking close to the apartment because of disability issues. Having a pool was a priority for me on the good period to walk our dogs. The dogs are getting older and really need to go to the bathroom as soon as they leave the apartment. And they couldn't wait till you get a block away to a dog park or walking area. We also cannot have carpeting due to respiratory and allergy issues. So you see our checklist was very long and specific when looking at all of the apartments in Fort Oglethorpe Ringgold and Rossville, even chickamauga. When taking everything into consideration this Apt. complex was the best choice for us. Yes the structure is old, but if you go to a new recently built place you are going to pay a steep price. No matter where you live you have to take a lot of things into consideration. I cannot say in that help please we are with making the decision to come here. The staff have been wonderful to us, the maintenance crew comes very quickly anytime we have a repair issue, even if it's changing a light bulb for me. No matter what I requests have been they have always tried their best to correct it. If there are troubling neighbors or problems arise , the management takes care of it fairly. All of the apartments have been updated with new appliances new floors new paint jobs etc."

"My boyfriend and I have lived here since April, and let me just say, it’s been great! Miss Lorie is absolutely amazing and helps us with whatever we need. She and miss Beth always have a smile on their faces whenever I walk into the office and never hesitate to answer any question I have. I love living in this community!"

"Lived here for two years. Lease was up right before they literally more than doubled it. Based of principle I went else where. It made nearly everyone have to move out. It was as sad to see. The apartments are extremely ran down and have mold in the HVAC system that they will not fix. I used to work for a mold company and ran a test just to see. I so wish I still had the results in order to post them. They do have new appliances as of a few months ago, know someone who is still in a lease, but they are not fixing the problems. Including the structural problems. Covering up aged “crap” with okay appliances. I want to be completely honest in my reviews and unbiased. I am only stating facts. I’m actually paying more then I would here so having hard feelings is out the window. I would not recommend this place unless it was a last resort."

"DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE! This place and the new owners are absolutely horrible. Legit some of the worst people I’ve ever met. They only care about money. I’ve lived here for 5 years, and then they bought the place and drove everyone out. They made lies after lies about my deposit. First they said I wasn’t getting it because I didn’t give a 30 day notice and that they couldn’t find the paper I signed stating I was leaving and they would call me when they found it. They never called back, so I called 2 weeks later and they changed their story and said I wasn’t getting my money back because I didn’t clean the refrigerator. I patched up all the holes from my decor and painted over them. I did every thing they said to do, and they still refused to give me my deposit back. Don’t rent from this money hungry people. They’re insanely rude, and don’t care about their tenants. I would give this place negative stars if I could."
